Hi Nina Thank you so much for this video it was so insightful. I started KZfaq 3 months a go and my video have been hitting 2k-4k views with less than 1000 subscribers. Something told me I must be onto something but I wasn't quite sure how to position myself . This has really been insightful.

This was so very helpful and encouraging. As a micro influencer, though, my audience cannot "swipe up" so what should I tally or count instead (minute 4:15)? Also, with my major audience being KZfaq, should I pitch to brands for a video or micro influencer or Instagram? I have 15% engagement rate on IG with 1400 followers. But KZfaq is much larger. Thank you again! I'm excited about this stuff too.

Hi! Thanks so much for your comment. For IG, since you can't swipe up, I would definitely include # of impressions per post and story views. Make sure you also include that high engagement rate! If KZfaq is where your audience is, I would 100% pitch a video and supplement with some IG content. Make sure to include YT analytics regarding your channel, your subscribers and all that good stuff in your media kit (print screens work fine!) Good luck!

Hi Nina! I've been binge-ing your content, and have learned so many useful nuggets. I do have a follow up question though: How do you know what to pitch to a brand as far as content? Especially just starting out... Do you come out swinging and promise 3 instagram posts, a promo video and a feature on your own youtube channel vlog...? And then how do you know what to ask for in return (ex: a discount, a free stay...etc.)?

Hiii! This is a great question, and you've inspired me to make a video on it (stay tuned!) For now, I would try and see what the value you are offering is, and the value you are asking for, and try and make it balance out. For example, if your value is around $500 (posting + time to create content) and you're asking for a free stay that's worth approx the same, then it's a fair deal. Here's a post on How To Figure Out Your Rate, in case you don't already know. sidewalkerdaily.com/how-much-to-charge-for-an-instagram-post/ As for stating the deliverables up front, it all comes down to what you are pitching, as it varies case by case. I like to recommend keeping it vague in the beginning, and seeing what they ask, and then modifying if you don't like what they suggest. This was actually super helpful. Wondering if you can do niche specific videos? I'm really trying to learn how to break into the travel blog industry, but pitching myself to hotel, airline, adventure brands, etc, is a lot different than pitching myself as a fashion or beauty influencer. Thanks! Sidenote - are swipe ups only available after a certain number of followers? I have 2700 and about 11% engagement rate but no option to allow swipe up. I thought that was if you're over 10K?
