I'm so glad you said that about small parts & sizing, bc what I've notice in some of my transfer clients have very tiny locs that are snapping and/or I've have 2 combin 2 save it, 🤦🏿‍♀️. Im no longer doing a certain number of locs to FIT A CERTAIN METHOD OR LOC BRAND 😉( IF THE HAIR ISNT ABLE TO). Im not counting locs either 😂... I love your work

Beautiful as always!! I did my mini twists in late Oct 2023 & kept them in until after New Years. Looking forward to doing this hairstyle again in March. Your grid technique is hands down the best I have seen 💕

I'm assuming this is from the locticians point on view, please correct me if I am wrong... briefly, I like to ask what their hair goals are, what is their hair history, I ask for photos of their hair.. the conversation normally takes off from there. Ill do a detailed video about the process soon 😊

Amazing tutorial ⭐️ Do you think the ready made Sisterloc extensions are a bad idea? If so, why?

Thank you!😊 Not necessarily.. My only hang up would be when starting with your hair or loose extensions that are added to your hair the root has time to adjust to the weight change as your locs mature. If you get premade locs the weight changes quickly and can shock your scalp which could possibly lead to thinning. It would just be something you and your loctician would need to keep your eye on.

I have a client that has shedding from her microlocs. Shedding is coming from the ends but not from roots mind you she had three surgeries in the past three months

So first shedding it common of course with extensions because there is hair that is not connected to the scalp. Im sure the surgeries have a bit to do with it as well.
