Here is the 11' cat running with an old 8hp outboard! Top speed without any wind, we hit 20 mph. In the next video I will post the trolling setup and performance.

Put a hot prop on this that will bring down the rpm,s and it will fly.

I would set this thig up with an electric motor with solar panels keeping it charged and call it the the silent bass hunter.

That's the dream. I've actually seen a couple solar catamarans that runs off solar panels only but they're pretty slow.

In the 160's. I was able to weigh all the individual components before final assembly.

What is the rest draft loaded/unloaded? This can potentially be a great TX flats skiff.

It will float loaded in 5 inches. Unloaded 3. With the outboard up on "trolling" the bottom of the skeg is 10". This design could definitely benefit from a jackplate as the tunnel effect builds.

I was wondering how you got it up on the dock😅 Obviously it's not as heavy as it looks. This would be a great flats fishing platform.

Weight is about 165 pounds. It is pretty easy to maneuver it around near docks and such

I know you said you would post a trolling setup. I'm curious how fast this would go with a 3hp motor. I'm wondering if you could hit 8mph.

I did post a quick video with a bow mounted trolling motor. It would 8mph easily with a 3hp. My guess is it would be in the 10-13 mph with a 3hp.

At 50" wide it does fit in most pickup beds... however a trailer is the easiest transport.
