Күн бұрынPresenting my favorite riffs/sections from Bathory`s first three classic albums, «Bathory", «The Return…..." and «Under The Sign Of The Black Mark". Some of the songs have been transposed from their original tuning, so that all could be performed on a Eb tuned (Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb) guitar.

Music originally written and composed by Tomas Börje Forsberg, also known as Quorthon.
Gear used:
ESP MX250 w/EMG 81/60 PUs, Fractal Audio System`s AXE-FX 2, SADOWSKY 5-string NYC bass, Line 6 Bass Pod Pro. Toontrack`s Superior Drummer 2.0. used for drums.
Recorded and produced using Logic Pro 9.
Visuals recorded using an iPhone 6S and a GoPro Hero 4 camera. Audio and film mashed together using Final Cut Pro X.

Bathory is the reason I started liking Black Metal. I always had in my mind that people don't respect Quorthon's legacy and I still remember that there was no media coverage about his death on news channels,magazines and shit. Thanks man for understanding Bathory respectworthy because Bathory wasn't the part of those stupid corpse painted assclowns who did crimes and shit for gaining attention when they lacked in their skills and talent,instead Bathory was good in terms of music. You not only played those riffs and solos good but you also produced your video very dynamically as I was able to feel the drums and bass and for a while I thought what would have happened if Bathory had nice and stable line-up with this kind of sound production. Thanks Buddy. You did a great job. Regards.

@@jussieronen3707 Most of the Mayhem fans don't even know more than 5 songs of their favorite band. Mayhem came to the limelight because of the arsons, Dead's suicide & all the shitty stuffs done by Euro not for their music. Even Burzum & Darkthrone has more classic songs than Mayhem, though Varg himself was involved in arsons but that mf knew how to make music...

Bathory were not my first Black Metal band..that would be Satyricon but the moment i discovered Bathory thats when my entire perception of Metal music changed. Nothing beats the filthy rawness of Bathory \m/

Been listening since a teenager in the mid 80`s and now still as a degreed professional. Its amazing how certain things in your life that you hold onto. One of the bands I always wanted to see live and unfortunately it never happened. Man!

Searched for a cover of "Blood, Fire, Death" to see how to play the epic riff for the last verse. Found this as well. Thank you KZfaq algorithm. Your right hand is like a hammer of steel. Amazing playing, awesome guitars, and brilliant tone. Quorthon would be pleased.

Glad to see sadist\tormentor and total destruction on the list. The Return is still my favorite, along with blood fire death, oh and hammerheart and twilight and under the sign as well as destroyer, bathory, plus also octogon , requiuem , and I cant forget the 2 nordland albums . So those are my favorites
