Beautiful. Every time I see this level of work I cannot help but think of how our ancestors must be nodding their heads in approval. A centuries old tradition passed down from one pair of hands to the other. Bravo, baby girl! Bravo!

I did the DIY micro braids into locs. My hair was damaged.. so it was really thin at first. I'm a year in and it's thickening up pretty well. Great for being on the go with kids and comedy. I love it... best decision for me. Maybe I'll do a video one day.

@jamaicankinkz2 жыл бұрын
The product you saw me use in the video was a pre shampoo treatment… after I shampoo and deep condition her hair I didn’t use much product… build up is caused by heavy products, perspiration etc… once she uses light products and gets a good shampoo on her next services there will be no build up…

Amazing workmanship!! can we get a parting tutorial? like did you come up with the grid...
@jamaicankinkz2 жыл бұрын
That’s something I can definitely consider… I looked at other parting patterns and then came up with my own based on what I’m comfortable with… this way when I’m mapping out I can estimate how long each grid will take depending on the loc’ing process that the client has chosen…
@mazznaturals2 жыл бұрын
Fantastic job sis!!! Well done.. you took great time to perfect that grid. 👏🏾 🤩👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾✨✨✨. Questions: How do these develop do they stay put when washed? I’ve just started 6 braid locs and 2 unraveled when I washed my hair 🤭🤷🏾♀️😩. Some Tips would be greatly appreciated by anyone who knows. Thanks in advance! ☺️❤️🙏🏾

Did you braid and band when you washed?
@jamaicankinkz2 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! 😊 In the beginning stages I focus on the scalp… Then when rinsing I let the water run down on a low pressure… I don’t band the hair when I shampoo… I sometimes hold the ends with one hand while thoroughly rinsing with the other… Everyone’s hair is different and so her hair may behave different than yours due to texture, density, coarseness etc…
@mazznaturals2 жыл бұрын
