I don't think he has the health issues anymore, he streams weekly on chilluminati and his in most of Tom's daily videos. I think he and Lewis just don't hang out as much anymore.

This is literally my Yogs dream team. I've been a fan since about 2008, back when I was a wee-lad, Lewis and Simon have of course always been the highlights. I fell off Yogscast for a long while, I was never huge on most of the Cast (Sjin and Sips are fun, but no one else has super entertained me). However when Tom and Ben joined, my love for these guys was rekindled. Tom, Lewis, Ben, Simon, my ideal Yogs Roster.

Imagine a Yogsquest where they played as their TTT avatars, so Lewis would be PC Master Race, Tom is Palp, Ben is Left Shark, it would be fantastic. And the enemies/bosses could be other TTT avatars like Kermit, Blobby, Wace Mindu, and Phoenix Wright. I think this is legitimately a really good idea.

Zac Roebuck i don't know anything about this but.... isn't the heat death of the universe when there is no longer energy transfer so everything stops. Not necessarily "hot death"

Heat death is when all the energy in the universe is heat. Its impossible to stop energy slowly turning into its most choatic form which is long wavelength EM radiation.

Judah Hansen The floor with describing heat death as a zero energy transfer environment is that there are multiple scenarios that can fit this description. For instance a environment where all particles et al. are equally spaced would have no collisions between species. Therefore there is no energy transfer in a non heat death environment.

I went to the website and took a look at all the games. I love them. I'm not a big board game (I mean this is a board-less board game, but still) guy purely because I have no-one to play them with, but Microscope in particular sounds so good and I am glad they went with a space setting. I love Sci-Fi settings in board games, probably because I feel like fantasy is overdone and typically less creative, but that's just me.

I had never heard of the Dark Forest theory, at least by that name, but I knew of the Fermi Paradox. Real interesting stuff and it makes you think about the endless possibilities of what's out there, even just in our galaxy.

Even then they spoke over skype or a teamspeak thing, you can tell by the sounds in the background whenever they talked in early yogs SMP. Not in the same room.

The last microscope game I played was a scifi game. Where all life began on massive ships prior to planets being formed. No one knew who or what created these ships. But all life started on these various ships and our timeline followed a specific group sent out to explore these newly formed planets. The timeline ended with the species of the galaxy coming to a great cataclysmic war between ancient gods and the mortal species of the galaxy finishing with every race populating planets and no longer having any ships

I think what Lewis was trying to explain would have been better demonstrated via how Constantinople replaced Rome as the Capital of the Roman Empire. By the time of Constantine Rome was a old city bloated and corrupt as the seat of power for this massive empire that spanned across the Mediterranean. So Constantine decided to establish his new power base in a place he could build and shape himself free from the ancient power structures that gripped Rome in a death vice. New Earth could be like that. A new place that could be built from scratch without any of the baggage of Earth.

Earth is united under a space Emperor simply named the God Emperor, Savior of Mankind. He takes them on great journeys across the stars until they find mean aliens that simply MUST die. Earth is renamed Holy Terra and it becomes a the Capital of the "Empire"
