I’m all for the new AI stuff, but the progressive crippling of core features of an operating system should not be celebrated. Win 11 already trashed the usefulness of file explorer under the guise of ‘modernising’, I shudder to think what they’ve done to it now :(

Those of us who suffered Microsoft initial attempt at taking over our initial Win 7 and 10 Computers. We all fraught them and finally got our computers back to where they were and out favorite Browser as well. Now I fear another attempt at taking over again. Most of us from that era as well. This is what I fear about Microsoft with AI; taking away our choices again. I already made Google my default browser and that is how I choose to keep it. So stop messing with me and forcing me to change browsers. I have free will as a HUMAN and I want to stay with Google.

I just started to use Co-Pilot last month let me tell you so far a game changer for the way I do things.

I am not anti-tech, far from it, but where are we heading where all we do is talk, type, or sketch, and the computer does everything else? What about all the people who want to be creative, and productive/employed? Are we going to become like the people in that movie Idiocracy, which strangely is looking more and more not like a fiction comedy, but a non-fiction thriller.

So it writes your emails, holds your hand while doing excel, suggests powerpoint templates, suggests stock photography, lets you edit photos not using photoshop (who would do that, children?). To summarize: it’s a tool that you type into and it spits words back out, how that helps you is up to you.

I have serious concerns about privacy of Copilot. Users are giving it tooooooo much data. Does copilot have access to all my files in my local drive? Can it read my personal emails, chats and documents to give answers? What about confidencial information, does microsoft read the confidencial documents that are used in Copilot? I don't want an AI snooping in my private photos and videos that I have never upload to cloud.

Can also write to. Google's handwriting tool works very well, but Windows should also work in the same way... Tab should also appear along with Enter in the typing tool or there should also be a sketch of Tab... so that on software like Excel, TAB and Can work quickly with Enter.
