I just completed a certificate based Excel for beginner's course and although I passed the required test, I left feeling as though I still did not know excel. This guy explains excel in a way that is very easy to understand and apply in real life. Great channel!

Often you need to apply an application to real world events, and use it a lot to get a firm grasp on not only how to operate it, but how to use it as a productive tool. I would recommend looking at data that you can put into excel and obtain some useful output. The month to month reading from the power meter would be a good example. You could even compare daily reading for a month to the same month last year. I would also correlate that data with the daily temperature readings for that month as well. Anything you can practice. You can become good at, and perhaps even master.

I wouldn’t dare to lie, but what I’m doing is every time I look at a job and see that I don’t know something, I get tools and spend days learning and practicing at home. That way, I can have that new skill and be able to put it on on my resume with confidence :)

For the first time in my life, I have gotten a chance to really understand what Excel sheets really are. I can't believe that I have always sat on a powerful tool. here are a lot of key sellers and free tools available to activate Excel (Office). I tried a few different sources but they all stopped working after a couple of months. After some in depth research, I found a company. They are not cheap but the activation is stable so far.

I usually have a hard time trying to learn new things because most of the time it's something written in a textbook or online reading is involved and I get overwhelmed very quickly. Then I struggle to retain what I learned. Your online tutorial was so helpful because I followed along while you were doing it and I learned stuff I did not know which is great! I also feel very confident that I will retain what I have learned because I did it myself and that will stick in my brain for longer. Thank you so much for the tutorial! An excellent way to break things down. I'm helping a family member by managing the office, and it has been many years since I have used Excel. I tried several "Excel Help" videos, yet the majority of the time I finished the video more confused than when I started. Thanks for this! I'm starting my "year of learning excel" this week and, as a self-taught person, this whole playlist is going to be my starting point. I'm a graphic designer so excel has been something I interact with often when I need to pull data for a graph or chart, but haven't ever done a deep-dive into. I'm sure finance is going to be thrilled when I stop coming to them, hat in hand because I accidentally broke one of their formulas.

I have used Excell for a long time in different positions however there are still things to learn. I even have my staff using this tutorial to learn how to use Excel or learn how to use it better.

I never knew excel is this much used and this powerful, i have never used it, and now since i have a job, i embarrassed myself by not knowing anything about excel, so I'm here. Absolutely brilliant. I have learned so much from this video. I have been very apprehensive to use excel for a number of years and as I work in finance I really do need it. I have used only the very very basic on excel sheets. I decided I really needed to look into excel and learn more about formatting and setting up charts etc. This video is absolutely brilliant. For the first time I am able to format/set up charts - something I thought I would never be able to do. Level 2 here I come. Thank you.

It isNew Year’s Eve 2022 - coming up to midnight my son is gone out and I am on taxi duty and I am watching this excel tutorial- and I think this guy is absolutely fabulous-I can’t wait to get out the lap top and input this data and practice- I purchased ‘Excel For Dummies’ expecting there to some practice sheets etc that you could mess around with but it is all text - so I am going to “latch” on to this guy and learn everything he has to say - this guy is BRILLIANT- Happy New Year 🥂

I was a decent Excel user 25 years ago, but haven't used it since. At 78 years old, I've forgotten much it, and I'm sure it's become more complicated. I will be lesrning from your videos. (Incidenrally, my first spreadsheet software was Visicalc in the 70s.) Thanks.

After taking my second stats course after 13 years for a degree requirement- I thank God for this tutorial. Years ago I knew this stuff but returning back to school after an extended time gives me a crash course on the items I was able to do with ease before. 13 years is a long time to be away from Excel. I do remember its capabilities though! Thank you!

Thank you for the video! I took an online Excel class at the local community college in 2020. It was using a printed textbook, which was extremely tedious and very difficult to understand. The print was so small and I had no teacher to answer questions! You just taught me in this video what a whole semester in college couldn't make clear to me! I will definitely continue with your videos! FIVE STARS!
