LOL at 16:00 mark when discussing the study which suggested robot-assisted joint replacement surgeries benefits may have been overstated, because capitalism. Now a _new_ study suggests that robot assisted surgeries are not more beneficial, so it's not even worth looking at. Umm it's the same bias in the study, only different vocabulary. The reasons that all these Drs are stating that robots don't bring any benefits to the theater is because, just like everyone else, they don't want to be automated out of a profession. I'm not saying that they should be replaced with robots, but saying that there are no benefits is just silly on its face. Medicine is one area where robots, AI, technology *ABSOLUTELY* has benefits. MASSIVE benefits.

(Definitely unhinged and very dramatic but true and honest) I've been terrified open AI will run out of money and then all the big companies put ASI back on the shelf for another 50 yrs and were trapped in this nightmare barbarrack world even longer potentially forever and if I come to that conclusion I will end myself not worth it all it's the only reason I chose to keep living bc of its potential to fix all this.

If AGI is a real thing, a machine singularity will be real to. AI will grow faster after AGI, maybe it will invent a new form for communication, wireless, nearly instant connect every AI and guild some form of hyper internet. Maybe one AGI will invent a new machine virus that replicate his presence into other machines. Maybe we get a nanobot based AGI in the form of a hive? 1 thing is sure, it will develop a new form of communication, like we invent the book, the phone and the internet. And we will don't have direct access, it will be manipulation free from humans and will prevent humans from opposing it. For short, money may not be long important.

To be able to learn on its own, the AI will need 1) ability to learn by experience, and 2) ability to learn by imagining and running simulations in its memory. The next few years, human scientists will be able to give the AI inputs and steer which topics it should use its imagination at. But little by little, this will become to fast and too complex for humans brains to cope with, and the AI will maybe- or probably make its own way from there on. At some point the AGI a self-preserving AGI will also control its own access to energy, its own access to resources, and will be helped and defended by armed robots.
