You absolutely destroyed the 4070. The super S tier and the regular C? Come on man, they have like 20% difference in performance and that's it. This is 3 tiers difference?

If the 4070 super had 16GB VRAM and was around $500 then I would consider S tier. But yeah 12GB VRaM at $600 is just pathetic. The max I would pay for 12GB is $400. Anything above it and I should see 16GB VRAM.

I’ve seen the 4070ti for as low as within $50 of the 4070 super. Don’t think one should be in a tier and the other in D unless you’re talking about the msrp only

The only nvidia cards that are huge uplifts at the same price point vs last gen are 4070 Super vs 3070 Ti and 4090 vs 3090. I’d give those 2 cards A tier. Nothing else above C tier.

Paid 600 bucks for my 4070Ti last year with Diablo IV, which I feel is quite good, all considered. Just the VRAM is lacking, but doesn't really matter outside a couple games with Pathtracing, 4K, DLSS and framegen at the same time. These days you can probably get a 4070Ti Super for around 700-800 with more VRAM which is slightly faster but still a lot more money. Idk, this generation has been pretty terrible as prices go. Even with the Super series.

I would put the 4070 ti super (very good card, not so good price) and the 4070 super at A tier (to low VRAM), no GPU in S tier. 😊

Yeah Nivdia decided to focus on their AI and completely forgot the gamers. Yeah none of there GPUs deserve S tier. You want to want what does deserve S tier. The AMD RX 7900GRE going for around $500.

Did you/Are you doing, this for AMD? If I had to guess: Radeon 7600 - C Tier (Maybe too much for 8GB, similar to the RTX4060) Radeon 7600XT - C Tier (maybe D or B tier, with the RAM size and slight clock boost vs price, cheapest sorta usable AI GPU) Radeon 7700XT - A Tier (New price, and sales under $400 give this great price/perf) Radeon 7800XT - B Tier (definitely better than the 7700XT, but is it $80-$120 better?) Radeon 7900GRE - S Tier (Cheapest Fully Usable AI GPU, overclocks to near 7900XT performance, sales price it close to 7800XT) Radeon 7900XT - A Tier (Sales see some models only $120-$150 over the GRE, and has more RAM, and can clock higher) Radeon 7900XTX - A Tier (Depending on the game, can be like a 4080 or 4090, for less than either, but, still pricey)

The 4060/ti 8/16gb are staying on shelves and will keep dipping in price as 5000 series launches. They will need to sell old stock and they will drop their pants. Prices will eventually be sub $300 and sub $200

A mere 4070 could cosplay as a 4090 with the help of dlss. That's why comparing nvidia to radeon gpus are pointless because they're completely different breed. Nvidia is so far ahead in features , and techs that I can only consider 7800xt to be a 2080 ti level.

I’m not complaining about my 4080, obviously a 4090 would be nicer but I just want to play at 4k 60 and it does that job well.

How can you justify your opinion on the cards if you have not run those cars in your system for a prolonged period of time putting them thru your normal workloads to see how they actually perform for your needs? Are you just make ng speculations without using all these cars in that manner? Or have you the lived experience with these cards in your system to provide a real world perspective?

Rtx4060 and rx7600 being the lowest price ( new with warranty) they offer. They are basically the same gpu . But the 4060 has some usable rt performance ( rt reflections) and has dlss. So yhe 4060 isn't amazing but it isn't that bad considering the rx 7600 is only 30 dollars cheaper yet loose a lot with the poor upscaler and poor rt performance🧐

Why does everyone hate on 4070 ti super? Its so similar to 4080 super, same vram Yes if it was 100$ cheaper everyone would be buying it. So why not just save up a 100$ more in the build itself, And buy this gpu that will work better long term.

The gap in performance between the ti super and the 4080 super gives the 4080 super owners an extra year ish or 2 before the performance boggles further. Not saying the performance gap is massive, but it is respectable enough that you can squeak an extra year before the “urge” to upgrade comes into question.

Its not that similar. The diff is similar to the 4070 to 4070 super around 20%

Laughs in 4090 Master Race. Expensive as fuck? Yes. Worth every penny? Yes. I expect the 5090 to blow past my 4090's current performance. I also expect Nvidia to charge well over $2000 starting MSRP and then the scalpers get their way for a long while. I figure the 4090 has enough horsepower for at least another 5 years of solid, high FPS/settings performance. Tensor cores are no joke...

man, i really feel like 40 series card is a skip, just like the 30s series tbh. If its just for gaming, i would highly recommend AMD instead but if you need it for ai art or meta quest 2 or 3, then yeah Nvidia is far far superior, plug and play while AMD needs workarounds that are really hard if you are just a average person.

Yes I noticed too. But I’ll been seeing the Meta Quest 3 working well with the 7900XT. But yea for VR Nivdia is better

No Nivdia Card deverses S Tier because of the Poor Value, along with completey ingnorning Gamers in favor of AI in their comptex presentation. At best mabye 4070super and 4070ti super lands at a B tier . Everything else is F tier due to it being overpriced and not offering value and or skimping VRAM or is olny little bit better in performance. Right now the 7900GRE deserves S Teir as it has 16GB VRAM, can be overclockeable to match the 7900XT, and is only around $500. This GPU basically matches a RTX 4070TI super in raterzation when overclocked. If not overclocked then it matches or is little faster than the 4070 super.

For the first time since i’ve been buying and building my own computers for gaming (since 2003) i absolutely hated everything about this generation. I was committed to spend $1500 on a new gpu but after nvidias treatment of EVGA, the dual 4080 scam attempt, artificial inflation, AMD refusing to be their own company and following nvidia I refused to give them my money. I spent the money i had instead on a new AVR for my home theater. So glad I did.
