Why do I wash my hair with gloves? I just don't like the feeling of product and shed hair on my hands plus it stops my nails snagging on my hair.

Hopefully in two years time my hair is at this length. We have the exact same curl pattern. Currently at one year post big chop and my hair is slightly longer than where yours was at this time. You are my motivation, I swear. Must get at this length and HEALTH especially. I treat my hair like a newborn baby😭 Excited to get a curly cut like yours as well😭

The growth always AMAZES me-- I've been trying the whole low manipulation, professional trims 3x a year thing for about 2 years and my growth isn't even coming close to yours-- are you using any new products you think might be helping with length retention? Also, what are your thoughts on trims and their frequency/do you still do them yourself?

Her hair texture, genetics and porosity aids in growth. Her hair seems to be 4a, so that less tangling and knots that someone with 4b/4c, which helps to retain growth since it's less breakage.

She may also have thicker strands which makes it much easier to retain her length. Eveyone has different journeys and hair factors that come into play. Your hair goes at it’s own place don’t over think it and compare.

Hi, thanks for this vid. I've come across your videos on Pinterest and one if them said to moisturize your hair with water daily. My hair's 4 years post big chop but I noticed it stopped growing/retaining length after two years of growth. I never trimmed until a month ago and I haven't been moisturizing daily.
