The Only Boo! praise ugh we love to see it. Only Boo is just... so perfect of a series that I can't even explain how without blubbering my words. It's just so well written and well paced and to think this is SeaKeen's first project, it did a great job on what they can do! I can't wait for more SeaKeen in the future.

the voice changer caught me off guard 😭 anyways I am glad you made this video because there are so many bls we are getting I agree that Only Boo! is one of THE BEST bl that has aired this year and I have my doubts that anything can come close to such a well written show. But I am excited to see what the other half of 2024 have for us. About We Are, I didn't expect anything much from it either but it's like a therapy show for me. But I think it's getting so annoying that they are just dragging the show for absolutely no reason. We are seeing the same scenes again and again, peem and phum started dating after kissing 100 times in literally ep 13 which is kinda disappointing. I don't know why they are spending so much unnecessary screen time on Q and Toey because we are not getting any development for chain and pun and we have like 3 episodes left.. I hope we get something in these last episodes. Wandee goodday is such an enjoyable show BUT I agree that their first kiss was awful. The bg song did not match the vibe, it was in public as you said which didn't feel very deep to me because the build up for their kiss was great. I hope it won't go down because ep 8 was amazing ( so proud of wandee) The disappointment I faced after watching Jazz for two needs to be studied. I see so many people still trying to defend this awful series because of the so called chemistry completely ignoring the issues of the show. I hope kbl will give us smth in the second half of the year. Love sea is going great, I didn't expect to actually cry in ep3 😭 the acting is wonderful, the chemistry is insane and i am enjoying the plot of both main and side couple. About the shows I am currently watching ( because I have no life) My love-mix up : oh I loved the Japanese version and was excited for the thai version and it's not bad at all. Gemfor are one of my favs from gmmtv but I have some issues with this series. I feel like they never expected MSP to break out the way it did so they took out gemfor from 23.5 and wanted to give a new show of them to the audience as quick and possible so they made this remake. The main two problem I have with the thai version is that firstly, the background music is so loud that I can barely hear their voices while they are speaking. It's 2024 and the audio quality never fails to disappoint me when it comes to gmmtv. Second the random sound effects which are so cringe and not needed. The comedy is not hitting that much and them adding random noises like of a horse or sheep? 😭 it's weird. Some new bls : Hidamari ga kikoeru, only first 1ep is out and i am already loving it. It's so refreshing and something I srsly needed right now. His man season3 : I feel like this season is so messy, that what makes it fun to watch but I am afraid it might turn out like s1 😭 let's hope for the best THE REBOUND : This started this week only, 2 eps every week and it's soo fun?? I am loving the sports theme so much, we needed a show like this for long time. Sunsetxvibes : Really enjoying it so far, I am rooting for the other couples as well because of their interesting dynamic. That's all from my side, sorry for the rant!! 🫶

I see our taste is totally different 😂 If I'd have to make my own list it would be like this: Favourite: Last Twilight - yes, even with this ending it's still my fav series. Unknown - this one had me on a chokehold for the whole time it was airing Only Boo - since the trailer I knew it'll be sweet & cute & totally worth my time and I was right. I just loved it! Worst: 1000 years old - wtf I watched??? Blossom Campus - just plain boring. I forced myself to finnish. Surprise: My Stand-in - every episode drives me to the edge. I'm obsessed to the point of rewatching it every other day and reading novel. Love Sea - same as with My Stand-in. I'm just worried it'll be rushed because the novel is pretty long and a lot of things is happening but the series will have only 10 episodes but we'll see. Wandee Goodday - cute FWB done right, love it a lot. Disappointment: Love for Love's Sake - extremely unpopular opinion but I don't really get the phenomenon of this one. Yes, I loved first 4 episodes but for me it gone downhill from there. The hunt for followers was ridiculous. Not a bad series but forgettable for me. We Are - aside from TanFang scenes I find the rest unwatchable. edit. I forgot to add Knock Knock Boys to the surprise category. I expected it to be the worst low buget type of BL but it's actually really good! I lauged out loud during the beginning episodes and now I'm crying because the angst started... Fully recommend!

I’m so glad I’m not the only one that was disappointed with the first kiss in wandee good day. I think because I knew it was coming… then you pair that with them giving us nothing but angst the entire episode and then trying to end it off with that kiss…it just didn’t work. I was so frustrated with wandee’s actions that episode. I read so many comments about people explaining how they understood him because he’s someone that can’t speak up for himself, so I was trying to give it the benefit of the doubt. in the end, I felt like the kiss was rushed and it was their way of trying to calm us down and get us ready for the next episode. there are so many things i think could have been handled better that episode but let me stop before i end up writing an entire essay.😭 overall i still like the show and the chemistry between the actors.

There were some pretty good japanese bls this year I think! I'm bad at remembering titles but it's def worth a quick google imo!! Also the korean yt channel red q with their cute lesbians has me in tears in the best way... I'm really loving the fact that there's more gl as well as bl too recently

I am too so obssessed with Only Boo! even it is finished but I am still missing them, rewatching it, listening to the songs. The drama is not perfect but it is much more better than so many other popular series ( I too didn't even cannot finish cherry magic and lost interest continuing My love mix up). Moo is a character so refreshing and great I've ever seen in BL drama, Keen just made this character alive. Moo and Kang is my favorite BL CP, their way of communication and intereaction is so damn good. And then the artists, Sea and Keen is my favourite artists now. Their introvert vs extrovert, fast vs slow is very adorable. For long time I didn't search for many things about artists but they made me do it again. And because of it I know Keen more and catch up back to Project Alpha, and I love to see anything of him, even his friendship with the Project Alpha members. I enjoy seeing him so much. I know more about Sea, his appearance in one of the MV pair with Surf is indeed very good, too bad the series JUMP seems cancelled and they have their own path now. (In fact I am not very fixed-CP desired, I love the artists, I enjoy their performances, any chances they could show they talents is best for them and I will support, though now of course I miss KangMoo so much that I would love to see Sea Keen more and more)

Okay i agree with a lot of your opinions. We are the series is great imo. It is plot- less ( ish) but it feels like a day to day life of a college friend group( absolute dream friend group). I do want a lore of Tan, Peem, Pun, and Chain too because i don't think about we know much. Tan and fang are the opposites attracts couple ( being calm and a little nonchalant does not mean they don't put effort). Honestly, Wandee is good but a little slow ( but I have faith in the director). Cherry Magic was okay but it was lacking the comedu aspect from New's character. Vice versa is probably my favorite series when it comes for the traveling through a parallel universe ngl. Andd only boo was so cute. Im more of a mature darker themed series person but this show made me smile ear to ear.

I enjoyed Cherry Magic Thailand as it was my weekly comfort show that's relaxing to watch but wouldn't say it's the best thing out there. Recently I've been obsessed with Wandee Goodday - the plot and execution is not the best but it's really GreatInn's acting and chemistry that keeps me hooked. I started watching Love Sea and dropped after the first 10 minutes of ep 1, then last week decided to give it one more try and I'm super surprised how much I ended up liking it, I even went back to watch LITA because I wanted to see more of FortPeat's chemistry. I can't believe that a pair can have such sizzling chemistry that it shadowed their inexperience acting (from LITA) and I also think their acting improved in Love Sea so can't wait to see how it unfolds. I've read endless praises about Only Boo so I am looking forward to watching it (the pilot trailer didn't catch my interest but the consistent raving reviews make me very exciting to start watching it! Also plan to watch My Stand In ones it's over as I known it's been a crowd favourite these days

The best bl I've watched so far in 2024 has to be Unknown and only boo, truly heartwarming and so damn adorable, the cinematography and the soundtrack were amazing and have a high rewatch value for me. The bl I haven't watched yet but want to is Love for love's Sake, I've watched almost every bl on today's list except for that one I think? The most anticipated bl for the 2nd half of the year is probably the firstkhao series The Heartkillers, idky I feel drawn to it but the pilot trailer was absolutely well done and convinces me that it might be good? but ik sometimes it doesn't work out that way so :( I don't really know what to choose for the biggest disappointment but my stand in has been a chore to watch nowadays, I have to drag myself to watch it. I had high hopes but the plot is going nowhere for me. I hate how fast joe is accepting ming and there is no redemption arc, he just accepts him without a single thought and ming never learns his lesson. devastating really. The biggest surprise was definitely only boo, I've never watched the trailer or the pilot trailer, it was so refreshing to see a new couple and not a recycled pairing from gmmtv. My favorite side couple is probably from 23.5, luna and aylin were so cute honestly wasn't expecting it all because I didn't watch the trailer and just dived straight into it. my favourite new actors have to be sea and keen, I never knew they existed until I watched only boo and great and inn, I knew about great in manner of death and catch me baby but I forgot that he was in them and I'm seeing inn for the first time as a main, they are pretty good actors imo. My newest fictional crush has to be the older sister from 23.5 as well - she's so girl crush material, she was so pretty in that drama, they didn't do her any justice in we are and the other dramas she's been in so far. As an older sister myself, I could relate to her character on so many levels and felt connected to her. unfortunately, i don't have a new favourite character yet but kang comes pretty close to my ideal. he's so calm and collected but chaotic on the inside, I like the cool demeanor he displays whilst keeping it all together, I feel like his character could have been developed more. The bl that made me cry has to be only boo, I cried when moo was missing kang and when he wasn't able to meet during that university fair even after serenading him with that beautiful song. The bl that made me happy is probably we are and my love mix up, it's genuinely good and I have always loved feel good series like these where I don't have Cherry Magic was a bl I enjoyed with mixed reviews because the plot was boring but I enjoyed tay's wild imagination in the drama. However, I did skip quite a bit to get through the series, I wouldn't have gotten through it if it wasn't for taynew and the side couple. idk about the worst bl I've watched so far in 2024, most of them are pretty mid and cant be called the worst. ooooh and I haven't heard you review 25 Ji, Akasaka de, you definitely should, I've watched it and I've liked it for the most despite being pretty short.

Hm, I love love for love's sake as you do. To the point I need to do a rewatch and cry my eyes out! About jazz for two, I saw lot of people hoping that this show will be like lfls but it turned out to be dissapointed. I remember I couldn't watch it to the end, but somehow I did. But yeah, I also don't think it was good written. But the title of the worst series goes to A breeze of love where the characters where at the beginning enemies and one of them was in the basketball club... They got no chemistry at all and still lot of people defended them?

I Feel bad for even saying this but the reason Cherry magic sucked was cause of New, Tay carried the fuck outta the show, but New's acting was so bad and I couldn't fall in love with the character. I also agree with Min and Jinta being cute af and Rock and the Girl(forgot her name) being uncesseary. I think It could've been 8-10 episodes long. 12 is was just dragging. I fear the same will happen with My love mix Up, where they stretch it unnecesarily.

1. It's definitely Only Boo! for me too. Altough I had some pauses in between due to lack of time or not being in the mood, watching it was the best decision. Their chemistry is seriously so good, they did great with it and it's literally the fluffiest cutest sugary adorableness ever. It may not be the most realistic with Moo's career path but they handled it well, it wasn't all over the place and the last 3 episodes made me cry sad and happy tears. 2. I am curious about We Are, My Stand-In and I still haven't watched IFYLITE as of yet. 3.I have such a sh>t memory and forgot what trailers I saw even. I am The Most Beautiful Count (I love Supenut and his sass) Knock Knock Boys (it's currently airing so I'm cheating.) If it even gets made, Monster Next Door. (I also looked at the Thame-Po trailer, I have apparently seen it but don't remember. I fully understand you, seems promising and kind of different.) I know it wouldn't be made now but Red Peafowl would've been one of my faves if they had made it. 4. No idea. I don't think it would be from this year. 5. Only Boo! 6. Cher and Yei from Wandee Goodday (I am obsessed with Cher, wish they told us more about them as a couple.) 7. The leads from Only Boo! and some other cast members that I've seen clips of from We Are. 8. If I were his age, Kang would be my cup of tea, the boy is adorable and seems so sweet. 9. Moo/Mok from Only Boo! My boy is cheeky, confident and adorable. Kang because he is sweet, caring and a little reserved and I love that. Also I think his love language or whatever is food, that's a bonus. 10. Last Twilight (cried buckets but I'm still salty for the last two eps 🙄, Only Boo! 11. Only Boo!, Last Twilight(2023?), The Sign, Love for Love's Sake, Wedding Plan (Last Twilight and Love for Love's Sake makes me a little salty still) 12. This is from last year but I still don't understand,The Eight Sense. Some people didn't understand this or Idk but it was so good and I think it was fairly realistic. Our Dating Sim was so sweet and sugary too and the reaction from audiences was just meh. I apologise for including stuff from last year but I'm always pretty behind. 13. My Dear Gangster Oppa* I had to look up the exact title that's how desperately I wanted to forget this but thankfully I only watched like 3-4 episodes and realised it was just sh*t. It had potential but this team makes such sh*t shows I swear. The actors could improve but the scripts... give them to a dog and it'll write a better one for you. I don't even know what made me want to watch it.

The best thing about only boo is that both of the characters are GREEN FLAGS ,they had no unnecessary fights, no toxicity, they literally HAD THE BEST COMMUNICATIVE RELATIONSHIP OF ALL TIME IN BLS , both of them were honest about their feelings there was no beating around the bush no dragging of who confesses first, the romance aspect of the series and sweet moments is what we were all missing in bls for a long time and this show gave it to us , and most of all THERE WERE NO TOP AND BOTYOM STEREOTYPES IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP i love this show so much 😭

1) The best BL I watched this year is undoubtedly "Only Boo." 2) The BL I'm eager to watch but haven't yet is "Unknown." 3) My most anticipated BLs for the latter half of the year are "Thamepo" and "Golden Blood." 4) Initially, I feared "Only Boo" would be a disappointment because its trailer reminded me of "MSP," raising my expectations considerably. However, it surpassed them, and I even coined a genre for P Kang and Nong Moo. 5) I haven't been particularly surprised by any BLs this year. Although I doubt I'll enjoy "Unknown," it might surprise me. 6) I don't have a favorite side couple; none particularly stood out to me. 7) As for my favorite new actors, the choice is so obvious it needs no mention. 8) I don't experience crushes in the typical sense of the word. 9) My new favorite characters are undoubtedly Moo and Kang. 10) No BL has ever made me cry. I shed all my tears for Jamie and Danny from "The Haunting of Bly Manor." 11) The BL that brought me the most joy was, without a doubt, "Only Boo." 12) Despite its mixed reviews, I found "Dead Friend Forever" particularly enjoyable. There's something about it I can't quite pinpoint that captivates me. 13) I successfully avoided the worst BLs this year. Given the limited number I watched, I managed to steer clear of the awful ones.

Hi Byul! I recommend Knock Knock Boys! It has good pacing, some witty dialogue, and decent chemistry amongst its leads, as well as tackling some gay issues. I did not want to pick it up initially but once I watched it I could not put it down. Try it!

I've watched almost everything you mentioned, except for Only Boo, We Are, DFF. I want to watch We Are because of AouBoom. I still need to watch Only Boo. I am definitely going to give it a chance, I promise. Your love for it is so obvious lol! Do you like it more than MSP? My love for the show Unknown is unmatched. What an amazing piece of work. Also, you should finish The Sign. lol! It's worth finishing it. I am watching your quick review of Cherry Magic Thailand, and I do not recall the pen scene you are talking about lol! Maybe I didn't watch the show that closely. I personally liked it because I like Tay's acting. I still like the Cherry Magic original the most. I agree with you about the kiss scene from Wandee Goodday, but I still like the show for now. Yoryak is a swoon-worthy character for sure. Jazz for Two is my least favorite BL so far.

oh wow it's refreshing to find someone who also dislikes cherry magic. i agree that it was bland and boring as hell, the characters felt like cardboard cutouts rather than real people and i couldn't care less about them as a result. i kept tuning in every week in hopes that it would get more interesting (and because people were praising it so much) but at some point it really did start feeling like a chore just like you said actually almost everything from gmmtv this year has been kinda disappointing (haven't seen only boo yet though). i would love to say that my fav bl of 2024 so far is my stand-in, but it's still airing and there's a chance that it might go downhill in the last few episodes, so i reserve my judgement for now

Idolfactory dropped the special episode of The Sign yesterday so maybe that will work as an incentive to finish it. I loved the show but I can understand how someone who watches a lot of other things might find it dense and dark, and not easy to digest. Other bls focus mostly on romance and have shorter episodes so they're easier to follow. This one is a bit more challenging. When I was watching it, I didn't watch anything alse and I think that made all the difference.

Drake plaing an asexual character trying to help improve people's relationships and spicing up others' sex lives is funny to me. I feel like it doesn't take itself too seriously. 5. Finding the show Let's Talk About Chu (not really BL, but has gay characters). A show that is open about all the mesy things about relationships and sex. Wish there were more shows like this. 3. Since I don't know when things will really come out, I don't know. I like certain actors and will watch shows just becasue of them, and hope I won't get disapointed. I have to really like an actor to watch a cooking themed show.

Did you watch My Stand-In? I really love it. Very toxic but the writing, acting and production is top tier and noteworthy. It’s my favourite bl of 2024 so far. I think people are sleeping on maruhuyo project! I love it's dialogue because it so detailed with (Philippines) the setting's culture and social issues. I also think the casting choice is refreshing to see, alot of them are not light skinned and the editors emphasize that, which is rare in bl (asian LGBT media in general) since they tend to whitewash people most of time, or cast the light skinned ones as good and dark skinned ones as criminals (I'm looking at you gmmtv.) I think the marahuyo project is one of the most underrated series of 2024.

The worst bl I've watched so far in 2024 is Twins. The plots is a mess, the idea is great and very interesting but is wasted so much. It could be executed so much better. I finished it just because I want to know how is the story going.

My Stand In is giving me major ptsd. If I die, don't cry, sue the makers and author. And why joe is so stupid like he's NEVER learns. I HATE HATE HATE family angst. I don't wanna see reality in a fiction world. It could've been much better if it was a revenge plot and Joe's character played by two different actors (not the sudden glimpse of joe 2) as uppoom are not a fixed ship (I will they work again). Ydek how much I was waiting for mmdiy and how horribly it disappointed me but less than blank. No! I don't wanna see sengfreen dating scandals. No! I don't want any gap references. Fay as wan is NOT convincing at all (though the character is same as ming). Only silvymint stole the show with limited screentime. The ost istg. Gl osts legit sound like nursery rhymes. Lingling as fahlada is scaring the shit outta me ngl. One time she's super sweet, kind and affectionate. Another time she's a ruthless and merciless woman. You can say that Lingling is a phenomenal actor. I'm legit having a crush on yak and dr. Kwan in wandee gooday. When that ter left kwan (emi) I was like bonnie take your woman out from these men.

I honestly haven't watched any BLs in so long. Idk but now that we are getting so many of them, I don't know what to watch anymore. Before, there weren't much so we were stuck watching whatever we could, but now I can't make a decision for myself. It's rough out here for someone as indecisive as me.

1. the best bl i have seen so far is definitely only boo. its just so refreshing to see characters who express themselves and solve conflicts better than some of the adults in bls and i might be biased bcoz of how much i love moo's character. also the conflicts MADE SENSE. it was not some bs misunderstanding them breaking up actually made sense 😭😭 2. its not a bl but i definitely wanna watch secret of us. 3. again its not a bl but us looks so promising 4. we are and twilight...its the same thing with both the shows i loved it at first but then they ruined the ending in twilight and with we are they are dragging it so long it had gotten annoying. 5. biggest surprise was my boo, love for love's sake and unknown. i started all these three bcoz i had nothing to watch and ended up loving them a little too much especially my boo (i need seakeen to get the attention and praise they deserve) 6. fav side couple is hands down tanfang but i also love the side pairing in wandee goodday (yeicher?) 7. seakeen 8. i love ongsa and alpha 9. MOO 10. unknown and love for love's sake made me cry so much its insane 11. only boo and my love mix up rn 12. we are its cute at times but i really think they should have just made the series 12 eps long if they were just going to drag it out like tanfang barely get screentime and chainpun are going nowhere 😭 13. definitely jazz for two wtf was that show 😭

I totally agree with you about Lfls and We are. The rest of them I just haven't watched so I can't say anything. Lfls is just one of my favorite bls ever! It's standing somewhere next to Itsay. I loved every second of it and still can't shut up how good it is. As for We are... I started watching it without any hopes only because I wanted to see more of WinnySatang. I loved them so much in Msp and kinda missed them so it was just like 'whatever I'll give it a chance for my boys' 😅 all that slave thing between phum and peem seemed kinda ridiculous, boring and outdated to me. Who knew back then that I would end up enjoying it this much! It's my current comfort show where I love every single character. I ABSOLUTELY love how all these couples are not separated from each other. They're like a big basket full of chaotic and mischievous kittens 🤏🤏 I love their friendship so much! And I've never really had any thoughts about Phuwin's acting because I've never seen his previous projects so now I'm pleasantly surprised how adorable and natural his Peem is. And ofc my boys WinnySatang 😭❤ Q is such a CRUSH!!! I'm in love with him. Satang's Toey is so different from Sound like wooooow this is what I call versatility, good job! Now I just don't want We Are to end! 😢

Am I the only one who is not feeling the direction of ALL the kiss/romance scenes of Wandee Goodday? None of the kisses have looked interesting so far. AND THAT DARN SOFA! Whoever choreographed their romance scenes needs to be sacked bcz they all look alike atp. 😵‍💫

For worst BL this year I'll have to go with Blossom Campus, the acting was so bad I couldn't go past the first episode. It was REALLY bad.

For cherry magic the derailed too much from the manga I hated the overreacting of Janhae only Min and Jinta grabbed my attention but then I had high expectations since the Japanese version is a masterpiece !!!

And you gotta watch My Stand In, I’m only on ep.6 but it’s so infuriating, there’s no way the show actually wants us to root for Ming after what he did?? It doesn’t make any sense coz there’s no reason Joe should be THAT in love with Ming when they barely knew each other and Ming was an a**hole almost the entire time. Please I just need someone be angry about it with especially since I can’t get back the time I wasted😅

Ngl, I think Seakeen needs more time to hone their acting skills, especially for the scenes which require nuance and emotion. The comedy and sweet moments are there, but when it came to the emotional parts and the kisses, it was kinda off. I really hope they both work very hard in their workshops, observe their seniors, learn, and mature beautifully into amazing actors. ❤ Comparing viewership of Only Boo and Wandee Good Day, both of them being two new ships, you can tell which couple has been a hit with the fans. Greatinn's chemistry is off the charts, on and off screen. And their intimate moments are INSANE! Matured, professional, and convincing. GMMTV will need to put them in a thriller/serious series next to push them to new heights.

I agree with you about Cherry Magic and The Last Twilight. We Are is done just for fan service. There is nothing in this series it's empty.
