Loved hearing your answers! I'm not really into sci-fi but I've heard so much praise for Recorder, I may just try it! 1920s and Pirates sounds amazing!! I can't wait to start the timeless series!! Hound of the Baskervilles is so good!!! It really is fall in a book!I love how engaging the Sherlock stories are! LOL you're not heartless 😂 I've actually only recently started crying while reading books... Visuals and audio stimuli really need to be there to make me sob, but lately I've been crying a lot more while reading I'm like what who am I lol! That Sherlock edition is GORGEOUS! Curious to see what you think of Suspended in the Stars, it sounds intriguing!

I'm having a superb reading year so it is really hard to pick a favorite. With that said, the book that has made my wee heart happiest is The Hudson Collection by Jocelyn Green. It has so many of the things I love in a book. It's the second in a series but would totally work as a standalone. Books to make you cry? I'd suggest Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys. Also, Allegiant which is book #3 in the Divergent trilogy. The Divergent books do have to be read in order. Since you loved Recorder, I think you might like these although they aren't Christian.

I’m very like you in that books don’t really make me cry. However, very rarely, one will bring that stinging feeling to my eyes, as if tears are THAT close. 😊 The most recent book to do that to me was The Robe, by Lloyd C Douglas. -Lucy

If you're a fan of siren books then you need to read To Kill A Kingdom! It's a wonderful book. Its not Christian but its clean and has no cursing. Just a really cool take on sirens and pirates.

@@talesandtreatswithtayMaybe so ! 😂😂😂If you want some recommendations for cry books, Unplanned by Alana Terry made me cry, partially because it revolved around abortion and I read it not long after my miscarriage (stupid, stupid Morgan. That was so stupid). Also, in the novella collection Courting Calamity, the last one, Echoes of the Heart, was SO STINKING SAD. Like, that was a legit sob fest.
