I don't have anything against Baus, and I'm significantly worse than him at the game, but no one can deny that it would be miserable to have him on your team. He forces everyone else to play around what he's doing in every single game. The biggest thing is that he makes it impossible for his teammates to influence the game because of how much gold he's fed, whereas many top laners that get fed will steamroll and get their team so ahead that 4v5ing is a possibility even if the top laner opts to continue splitting. And in the case a fed top laner opts to split push, they're opening up bot inhib or a free baron, not a grey screen simulation.

@@Noah-go8xc do you actually believe what you are saying here? Literally everyone says he gets carried every game, this is true to some extent. When he wins, one teammates lane often do really well. How is it possible then that his teammates cant influence the game?

@@everydaysports9199 What he means is that because he draws all the pressure in laning phase most of the games it is bound to happen that one or more of his other laners win. He plays champions that scale well into late game even if he feeds early game, and his macro knowledge helps him to become a 1v5 force anyways because he takes all the farm he can get including stealing from his own jungler and other lanes wherever he can. While it seems counterintuitive, he forces himself to become the carry literally every game he plays by making him the center of the game in all possible ways. The reason he always loses with Jankos for example is that Jankos despises this strategy and doesn't want to conform, and he continues to play normally while the optimal play would be to play around him to win. The reason no one likes to play with Baus and his strategy is because if he has a bad game it automatically means that the team can't literally influence much and a lot is in his hands. If he has a good game they can't influence the game and get carried. He is a solo queue player to the most accurate definition of it and others hate it, because he forces the game to be a single player game for him basically.
