i love how sacredly indians treat their food. they make a full meal out of various tiny portions in comparison to some of us from the other cultures. i am an afghan and the way we eat is ridiculous. so much food is prepared and you are forced to eat until you are sorry you were born and then so much of it gets wasted.

It is unreal how much I relate to this. My mother's favourite cuisine is Chinese too and this one time we ordered extra "gravy". Of course we couldn't finish it and my dad (being 'dad') ordered my brother and I to finish it. "4 bites mein ho jayega khatam. dono 2-2 bites le lo jaldi se." xD Kenny, you're hilarious. Hi Kenny, I enjoy your shows as I can connect with the topics being discussed. Ignore the comparisons and other crap that we Indians seem really good at. After all these years and innumerable achievements we Indians still think the west does it best. I have been to a lot of stand up comedy shows and watched stuff on tv, the really good comedians are those that can make the mundane and routine, hilarious. It is very easy to slag someone off or resort to stereotypes under the guise of comedy but true comedy takes intelligence and humor and most importantly courage to stand up in front of a room full of people and make them laugh. I believe all Indian stand up comedians are doing a great job, because as a race making fun of ourselves doesn't come naturally to us. Keep up the good work.

My dad used to say the exact same thing every time we craved dessert!! :D I have been is the US for 6 months and every time I have to order food, I feel like that middle-class guy in a 5 star hotel. I was eating out yesterday when my friend ordered some Texas style chicken cooked in a specific way with a specific salad and a specific dressing, served with a specific cheese and what not! The waitress looked at me and I sheepishly said, "Make that two!" :D :P
