When I was thinking of joining hotel management to complete my graduation I realised that I go to five star hotels occassionally for birthday treats and if I get placed there for my job and a known person sees me working there then it's shameful for me. Then I understood why students who study in their hometown go for jobs in another state or country.

This is so true. My maid salary is near 30k..she works in multiple home. Plus her husband earns too. They have electricity bill hardly 200. And mostly where they work they offer them food too.. House rent max to max 3h to 4k. She told me that they also own property and also have ancestors property in her village. People gives many thing to lower class considering they are poor. But no one thinks about middle class or lower middle.. Not even government

Most of the families are in financial crisis but problem with middle class families is that we don't accept our situation which just leads to more worse situation.....all middle class parents need to know this!!!

I am from Middle class family and can relate to it very easily. and still bachelor , earning a low salary,, my parents keep on insisting for having two kids and very lavish wedding . I keep telling them that there has to be a financial margin and things have to be planned for future vision which will avoid heavy stress in future.

My dear husband works at a senior position in Microsoft. He drives a car that he bought nine years ago, from a friend who was moving. (We live in the United States) Once at a meeting, someone pointed out that my husband is the only one in the team who doesn't have a Tesla. To which my husband jokingly replied, "while we r at it (comparing), i am also the only one in the team who has full head of hair, u can compare anything you like." That hit hard. He actually has a full head of hair and he is in his late 40s. Talk about lack of stress. He lives (or rather we live) way below our means, a simple yet fulfilling life, full of small wonders. Simple life is a beautiful life.
