Hey, agree about Sehr. I was mildly disappointed it smelled so familiar. To me it’s Navitus Lost in a Dream (or Commodity Milk) with a spritz of Khamrah. Lucky it was priced lower 😂

It's amazing that you mentioned the fragrance in the red bottle smells like both Alien and Amarige. Did you know that Alien & Amarige were created by the same Master Perfumer Dominique Ropion? He is my favorite perfumer. You have an incredible nose, to pick up on that!

I did not enjoy Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar at first. I bought a sample and a 10ml and felt the sample had such a spicy pear opening it turned me off. I debated returning my 10ml, but decided to try it. As I started to use it, the spicy pear note started to lessen and the sweet, candy notes started to amp up. Now, I’ve gone through my 10ml and love it! I get a solid 6 hours on skin and 8 if I overspray. Hoping to get my 50ml today!

I love Rock candy sugar. Very addictive scent. I have a serious dent. I prefer it to La Belle. It’s gorgeous. I hope someone does a dupe for it . I’m letting my other bottle macerate because it’s light. I don’t mind though .

Hi Simin. I love your channel. I got Sehr yesterday and you are correct; it smells like a mix of Eclaire, Kamrah, with that animalic note from Ishq but just more mellow. The problem I’m having today is I can’t smell anything now when I spray it. My husband says he can smell it but I can’t! Have I become anosmic?? I’m staying away for a few days or weeks and will come back to it. The bottle is beautiful.

Unfortunately, it is quite hard to acquire outside of Brazil.❤ Ilia has that fruity and grape-ish juicy smell similar in the Sabah Al Ward. Owning both fragrances (Alien Mugler/Sabah Al Wataniah) I agree that the Jasmine present in both Sabah and Alien is the same.❤ Thanks for reviewing those amazing fragrances! Much love❤

When it comes to Sehr from Lattafa, I'm a bit lost. I saw other reviews and this fragrance was compared to Vanille Absolu Montale and in another to Teriaq mixed with Ameer al oud intens. I have the impression that everyone feels something different here. I guess we'll have to wait until the perfume has a chance to mature and then show its true face.

I just got my Sehr Lattafa yesterday and I’m sooooo impressed by the presentation. I would do a full review soon Hmmm I don’t get Khamrah from it but I’ll keep testing it. I haven’t tried Ishq Al Shuyukh yet. I do get a suede and prominent coffee note

I love the Sehr bottle, too! I'm digging a lot of Al Wataniah. I've bought several, and I would never guess they're $20 cheapies. They are catching on in the States, and I'm seeing more gouging happening. They do need to maturate, but if you're patient, these frags perform great. Thank you for covering Khadlaj!!! I can't say "I luv Khadlaj" enough! I am an oil girl, and Khadlaj does the absolute BEST oils. I WISH they would reply to my emails. I have sehr , khamrah and ishq al shuyukh Gold. My opinion sehr doesnt smell like you describe it . Maybe because im in Germany, and when it came , its cooler here . Maybe you should put sehr bottle in a cooler place , and sprays it again once a while . It is completely different than both perfumes you mentioned.

I can bet I'll not like Vanilla Candy Sugar Rock because it'll be too sweet. Not a fan of Sehr's packaging because it's excessive. I'm curious about the Al Wataniah's one because the other KZfaqr said it was chocolatey and I love chocolate note. Sehr on the Lattafa USA website is $69.50. I notice the US dollar prices you quote are often much less than the cost of the perfumes here in the U.S. Are they less expensive in the UAE even when bought in dollars? I'm so curious.

I think the prices are going up on oriental perfumes and I hope they won't become too expensive because most of them are a dupe for other OG perfumes that we don't afford. Sometimes less is more, this applies to the prices too. Its how bussines has to be for success. I started my journey with this type of perfumes because i am a regular person that simply gets bored very fast of perfumes and want to enjoy new once.If the price is good, I buy as manny I can. Mentally is nice to get myself a gift. And the OG perfumes are simply going way to expensive this days. I don't understand why? Its a water with a smell, not gold. What is the point?

Oooh, @SiminShaikh, I love the lilac on you! Purple (after burgundy) is my favourite colour, and it is sad that you rarely see designers use/people wear it, while it is a shade that looks good on almost anyone, no matter skin colour, skin tone (though my fellow cool toned beauties: royal purple and berry, the lilac is for our warm toned friends) or whether they're a blonde, redhead or brunette. I've completely given up on ever getting in a relationship again, let alone be a bride some day, but I always envisioned purple shades in the flowers, and in the dresses/suits of the wedding party. Sigh... 💜. I rarely disagree with you, but Sabah Al Ward is absolutely not similar like Amarige 😮. I HATE Amarige and really like the Sabah. (As for the jasmine, yeah the type is the same as Alien, but there the comparison is finished, imho). I really, really wonder if they changed the formula (as the cap is different as on mine, too). If that's the case I'm going to cry because it is so hard to find fragrances I like/love that I can also wear in Spring/Summer (Dutch Summer 😂). Mine does smell like cacao! On my skin, on fabric and in the air. I get a juicy orange, Orangeblossom, Cacao, with jasmine and vanilla as the supporting cast. I think the Tonka works more as a fixative, than as a note. Zero patchouli too. Imho it's a dupe of the discontinued Roberto Cavalli fragrance. Not vintage. Actually relatively modern. Do me a favour, will you? Put it with on your maturing shelf, and smell it again in a few months? I want to know if you get the Cacao then and no longer think of Amarige. Otherwise I might have to say goodbye forgood to this perfume 😢. - Btw, I'm also a big fan of La Belle Le Parfum/ Intense (the OG, not so much). I have quite a few autumn/ winter perfumes and adore many of them, but LBI is in my top 5 compliment getters (besides Khamrah, Khadlaj Intoxicate, Libre Intense, and Chopard Love). Actually, I never miss out on a compliment when I wear it😊. If they ever create an affordable quality dupe, I'll for sure buy it. The original is a tad too expensive for the number of times I grab for it. Especially because it also smells amazing in combination with other fragrances like Lost Cherry, Givenchy L'interdit Rouge, Nebras/ any other chocolate scents, Rose Musc Noir and a few more. I'm currently considering trying to layer it with Reminiscence Tonka. -As for the price of Sehr... yeah, I fear they heard you. Ssshhhh, don't talk about higher prices! The cheapest I've seen it here is €80, so that's like 90 dollars US And until now, every expensive Middle Eastern fragrance I bought was a major letdown (Junoon Rose, Antique, Toleen. Though Toleen is actually kind of nice now), especially because they were just as expensive as western high end perfumes. So, me and my inner fragrance diva have discussed it, and we are no longer paying more than 40 bucks for Lattafa/ all those standard brands. Maybe I'll pay more for Swiss Arabian- Amber 07, if I ever get the opportunity to smell it.
