I just purchased Yara in the pink bottle yesterday and waiting for it to be shipped. I wish I had viewed this video first before I purchased it, maybe I would not have purchased this fragrance. Hopefully I may like it on my skin, otherwise this perfume will be regifted or just sit on the shelf. 😞 BTW, listening to your soft speaking voice reminds me of the actress “Mary Billie Burke” who played “Glinda” the good witch of the North from The Wizard Of Oz. You have a very pleasant speaking voice.

Simin, I also get coconut in Yara! Zero strawberry 🍓. I *only* get coconut on the Sample I bought. Which, ironically, is why I bought it - waiting on my order from Germany now. I sometimes buy perfumes purely for their layering abilities (think Choco Musk- Al Rehab, Paris Corner Pendora - Boozy Cherry, Kim Kardashian - Pure Honey ) because they turn other perfumes into a new scent or better scent. I think it'll add sth to some of my summer perfumes. I like coconut in summer, but not enough to buy multiple perfumes with it. This is a great solution. If you love coconut, but don't have the money to buy multiple perfumes, getting Yara for the coconut layering is also an option: just add it to everything 😅. Anyway...I do think it'll be a 'one buy- never again' though. I pulled the trigger this time because I could get it for under €25 and it's usually 30 bucks. But you're right: it isn't worth the hype. Unlike some other fragrances I sometimes see hyped (usually years after I've discovered it, but we must not fool ourselves into thinking that TikTokkers do it out of love and/ or knowledge for/of perfume...). > Yara Moi is supposedly inspired by a popular designer fragrance, but can't remember which one. The other two are originals, not dupes. The first one a Jo Malone juice and the Hibiscus from a Zara perfumer. Saffron is unisex, Hibiscus a tropical fruity feminine leaning one). But I can't wait to pick up several of my summery Middle Eastern fragrances again. I'm more of a heavy perfume lover, so winter is my favourite season for that. But ever since I discovered that I dó like Rose and Peony a world has opened. In that case my Ard Al Zaafaran - Dirham Wardi is a winner! Such a lovely, elegant fresh Rose. Besides AaZ, my most loved ME fragrances for summer all come from Lattafa or Lattafa subsidiaries. And 80% is recent too. Btw, is Hamsah by Swiss Arabian a summer fragrance or not? I heard it's very close to Girl of now with the Almond. But that seems more gourmandish then, like at least Fall. I would hate to open it up and not be able to use it.

I think you have to put Yara Moi on your skin, not your clothes. I pick up so much depth to it under the more fruity/floral top notes. It's actually got a little spice to it on my skin, which I guess is the sandalwood and the amber combining with my body chemistry. That's why people say it is sexy. It has the depth of a musk without the musky odor, because it amplifies a person's natural musk, that is unique to them. You know how you just love the way the sweat of some men smells to you? I was engaged to a man once (later married someone else) and I loved the smell of his sweat. He always said he loved mine too. It's not logical, but something just happens with pheromones and compatibility. This fragrances amplifies your natural attractiveness factor, so that people who jibe with you are more attracted to you, but probably it is quite unpleasant if someone just doesn't like your scent. Similarly, if you spray it on inanimate objects, you probably do get a contradictory jumble. It needs the human to bring it all together as one fragrance, unique to that person. This is why some people love it so much. It has definitely become an instant favorite of mine and I can't wait to see how it matures over the next few months before Summer, when it will really be the perfect season for it.

So accurate. Asad is sooo nice and pleasant and manly. especially for the price point it’s pretty amazing. It was worth getting the trio. The other two are soft for sleep time

100% agree with your review. I let both Yaras macerate, but still don't like them... I'll give them away. I stopped buying Lattafa. Here in Abu Dhabi I can't find shops to try them so most of them were blind buys. My last purchase was La Fleur bouquet (Afnan). It's a great perfume!

Good girl blush is much more sour/ sharp than Yara - Yara is far sweeter and creamier. Yara reminds me of a mix of Juicy Couture Gold and Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62. I agree, the projection isn't the best, but I like it for around the house.

I wish I had listened to your review before I purchased Yara. Other reviewers were raving about it, however. I think many are just followers.

I totally agree with you. I tried both of the fragrances I do not like either one. Especially the one in the pink bottle just synthetic over sweet just terrible.

From yara by Lattafa I just get the vanilla and tropical fruits notes.

In all Lattafa perfumes, I only smell vanilla 😅😂😂 Only Khamrah is strong spicey, cinnamon scent (no apple pie) 😂

This review is pretty accurate but seriously guys i just got YARA today and let me tell you it's NOT WORTH ANY HYPE. All the rumours about it smelling like a strawberry milkshake or even gourmand is false. Trust me it's very floral and powdery. You won't get the slightest bit of sweetness or gourmandyness throughout. Does it smell bad? No, it's a soft feminine floral scent that's the best way i can describe it. And if you're from asia there's a 100% chance you've already smelled this before cause it's a VERY VERY common scent. (I kinda regret spending the amount cause i could have easily gotten it elsewhere at a much cheaper rate cause this literally smells identical to a lot of perfumes made by small local brands)

Lataffa yara pairs so well with my body chemistry, but it definitely does not smell like strawberries

I don’t get the strawberry sweet tropical scent at all on Yara. I get a Smokey sharp over ripe fruit salad 😫 And I can’t smell it after 20 minutes 😢

I don't know if it is coconut or almonds in yara or both but Lattafa's notes are wrong as usual. And I totally agree with you opinion, Yara is just... meh... Edit: so happy that I got a little tester and didn't blind buy.

What a pitty :(...why anyone says it is a perfume for teenagers?even if when i was a teenager i wear Amarige by Givenchy...it has a lot of alcohol and seems synthetic. Hope it will "macerate" otherwise i will gift it to somebody!!by the way i bought in an airport a perfumed called Desert Rose by the house of Amjad, and i like it a lot but why anybody talks about it?many hugs from Italy❤

Whenever I wear Yara I always have people asking me what I wear, complimenting me about how good I smell, even strangers on the street approach me and telling me I smell amazing and I also love this perfume. And the Yara Moi on the other hand is a huge disappointment 😢 I got it and it smells like something is burnt. It makes me nauseous.

I bought yara and it smells of nail polish remover, acetone😭 I had to wash my arm and I got nausea😩 is it because it has to macerate? It arrived today and I’m SO disappointed😭 I have other lattafas and they smelled good immediately and I didn’t have to let them macerate

Yara is my least favorite Lattafa. It’s macerated for 3 months and it’s a cheap watery beach coconut scent. My top 3 Lattafa that have fully macerated: Nebras, Khamrah, Velvet Rose. Currently, Crafted Oud is macerating , and it’s already stunning. Bought a backup bottle !
