My second video about classroom management in the middle school classroom. This one focuses on getting students to pass papers forward in an organized, and manageable way. It used to drive me bonkers that it took so long to collect papers, and even more crazy when they would all get to the front, and then another one would need to be passed forward. I also hated that I had to walk back and forth to get the ones that were trickling in.
Now, with this way of managing paper collecting, I have taught my students to facilitate the collection themselves, and be responsible for doing it quickly and efficiently. We have saved so much class time and so much of my sanity!
