Qatar’s Minister of State for International Cooperation, Lolwa Al Khater, entered Gaza on Sunday through the Rafah crossing.
During her visit she addressed the people of Gaza on behalf of Qatar in a message she shared to X, formerly Twitter, acknowledging their resilience.

@@SuzanneZacharia she is blasphemous to us Christians in this speech, actually. Because she openly said the people of Gaza "have revived the dead", which even if she's a Muslim, she very well knows in the Bible, reviving dead people it is a miracle only God and His Son Jesus Christ could do, either to Lazarus, or to Himself in 3 days. Even if it's just a metaphor, it's still blasphemous to Christians. Also, with that sentence, she is openly saying all the rest of the world is dead, and only the Palestinians are alive, which is also a bad statement.

I found the speech to be emphatic and supportive. She has offered a very human response, understanding the pain of the Palestinians and their grievances, and giving them strength that they are not alone. I applaud her efforts. Well done Qatar!😮

She included some Qur'anic verses in her speech. Qur'an is word of God completely free of human interpolation. The Arabic language is beautiful. Reading Qur'an while understanding Arabic is a unique experience.

To all those who found her words soothing, for more listen to Quran. She was quoting many phrases from in there plus a few phrases derived from the words of Prophet Muhammad SAW (e.g. fa tooba lakum etc) But the purity of emotions was her own. I for one have started learning Arabic now it's the least I can do as a non arab Muslim who claims I love my Lord so atleast I know the language of His Book. Truly Gaza has woken up the ummah!

This is the most beautiful and moving speech I have heard since the 7 October horrors and the war began. I did not detect any blasphemy in her speech; by 'waking up the dead' she's figuratively referring to the world's (previous) silence and inaction in the face of continued injustices in the occupied West Bank. What's more, her speech is not exclusively addressed to muslims in Gaza. Remember, she is muslim and the huge majority of 'Gazans' are muslim, hence her mode of address. I believe she is addressing all the people of Gaza.
