I have a genuine dark blue TT string launcher with the 2011 code on it. I’ve used lots of their launchers and they’re never perfect. They have a good smooth feeling but they can still seize up and feel weird from time to time.

That could be a possibility. However I read the reviews that some people said the packaging seemed old but I'm still not 100% sure on that. I guess doing another lead test really confirms if it's fake or not. I mean if it is, I'll be extremely impressed on the factory that made these.

From my recollection there hasn't been any confirmation of Bakuten Shoot midfakes. It seems to only be exclusive for metal fight. Daimyo D Digi did a video a few months ago that confirmed that midfakes have high concentrations of lead present in the metal wheel.

I said that the Hasbro beyblades on this site (which is the one featured in this video) aren't confirmed to be real or fake yet, while I mentioned that it is encouraged to stay away from the TT beys being sold in this site as they are probably midfakes. I actually disagree. The last digits of the code is the year of manufacture. Takara Tomy stop manufactured mfb beys in 2012. Factories were not suppose to make more afterwards. Also the other problem of midfake is that they are effective and the parts are very misleading. I actually bought a couple midfakes couple years ago as well as their legit counterparts that have the genuine packaging. I compared the Gold L-Drago Destroy of the midfake and the legit one. The molding is very different as well as the paintwork. Midfake: I noticed the paint was not as crisp as well as having some visible unfinished touches. I also noticed that the rubber parts had no rubber at all. It was plastic ffs. The sticker sheet was too obvious. Also, I have noticed that the metal facebolt had rust, which I remember that zinc does not rust that easily compared to other metals. And the design of the facebolt, I literally screamed “WTF IS THIS?!?!?” The facebolt looked like a goofy alien or puppy eyes L-Drago design. It was worth throwing away (didn’t pay that much) Legit: The paintjob was crisp, not a single sight of unfinished paint. The rubber part was legitimate rubber from the texture. The facebolt looked exactly like the one on the stickers.

@@meisteryune so what you're saying isnt that you disagree. You just said nothing relevant to you disagreeing? The arguement of superior quality obviously favors pre 2012 beys. But calling ones made after any kind of "fake" isnt right. The company making them has the licensing right and therefore they arent fake. It's like calling unlimited pokemon cards fake. They arent fake they just arent as nice. Midfake was a term created by someone who clearly struggles with English (probably a redditor)

@@NiceBoyAdam I misread the comment a bit. How do they have license rights if the company stopped manufacturing them still? I know that even unlimited pokemon cards are expected same quality as the 1st editions (heck there are some cards that don’t get a reprint).

@@meisteryune because they sign the licenses away. Meaning the new ones arent by definition "fake" they are lower quality. But "fake" isnt right.

@@NiceBoyAdam (Sorry for the late response) I looked up the year production on the beys from line-ups and it turns out the originals beys stop production in in 2012, where these ones (the one you don’t like to call “fakes”) were made in 2013. I still think they do not have the license to make them, since they officially stop production. Even though they did have the license I would still consider them false quality because the despite the beys being identical, I would have higher expectations for them to be the same quality as the original than buying from companies who lie to their consumers/buyers, especially with the fact that the beys contain lead that would not be worth buying.
