One word: grinder It helps A LOT. Grind up all the crap you no longer need, cuz you upgraded to better shit, gives you back the resources used to make it. Grind up all the shit you collected from cadavers, all those metal axes and hatchets, all give back ingots. It may seem like nothing, but it adds up and it only costs you some gasoline. Grinder also makes stone into flint, wood into thatch.

It's great to see this series guide lovingly wrapped into a well edited parcel straight to the Ark Community's doorstep. It's not surprising to see how you've shot up in the last month or so. I'm sure you will continue to grow even quicker!

You forgot one of the best ways to gather Cementing Paste. Go to the cave in the redwoods with a Beelzebufo and kill all the bugs inside the cave, all meganeuras killed will result into cp. You will need a good beelzebufo tho because there are a lot of strong dino’s inside that cave. Also you’ll need 3 pieces of scuba gear to not die inside the cave from the poisonous gas. It’s definitely not the safest way but in my opinion it’s the most rewarding. High risk, High reward.

On your next tier of videos when mentioning resources the radiation zone on val can easily net players a lot of polly from the white plants down the bottom of the trench. A sickle would be fine but a mantis or fez will get so much more. If people are struggling with making hard polly

You can gather charcoal in ragnarok between the volcano and the snow biome. A wyvern has the second best collection percentage with its grabbing attack and the therizino has a high percentage as well.

For gunpowder go to crystal isles and smack down the red forest, the glowing red trees give you wood and charcoal instead of wood and thatch, I personally use my wyvern and come home with stacks of 1500+ at one go

Having only time for single player, these vids are great and I thank you. I was doing things the wrong way and the amount of time I have saved has made the game so much more enjoyable.

Don't forget about Beezlebufos for cementic paste. They gather stacks in seconds once you encounter insects.

Industrial Forge can cook up multiple metal ingot, gasoline, and create a ton of charcoal really fast when you put wood in there.

I don't know about other maps but in Ragnarok, you can get charcoal from burnt trees in the volcano area

If u play valguero i rrly recommend u the triple waterfall cave, is has poli, silicas, cp, crystal and metal near and its an nice spot

Any burnt tree will give charcoal so most volcano areas have them. The Valegeo wyvern pit has them

Also you can use a frog in swamp cane and kill the bugs to get the paste cause frogs auto craft it in there inventory from chitin

a tip if you're not on genesis: find a male and female tek dino (multiple for efficiency), breed them and (even though this is brutal) kill the baby's, and then harvest them.

I have 10 easter colored achatinas wandering my greenhouse. With S+ item collector. Sometimes I have to cryo a few when supply overwhelms my item collector. Other than theriz. I don't have many "scary" dinos... but I am a crazy base-mom with tonnes of stuff. Since I am sp, i don't use industrial forge, I use regular forges and ONLY burn wood in my fires (except cooking pot)

Solo player here. Worked for days on stat mutations for my boss battle tek rexes. By the time I hit 20/20, I had enough element dust, electronics, oil, and metal to last me a good while. Vaults full! Made it MUCH easier to make the saddles/weapons/armor necessary when getting prepared for late/mid game. Biggest issue for me is hide. Save them all from early on. Stick them in every available storage unit. You WILL need them for boss battle-ready saddles...tens of thousands of hide! That is the one resource I’m constantly running low on. 9 Achatinas take care of my cementing paste...no problem. Also, if you intend to breed for boss battles, get your armies bred as early as you can. This way they can be passively leveling, while you collect those artifacts, tributes, and blueprints you will need. It takes longer than you think just finding the blueprints, gathering the thousands of materials necessary for the battle equipment (saddles, shotguns, armor, etc.,). If you really want to progress in the game, start early. It helps immensely when you finally reach mid/endgame! Good hunting!

Tame 2 tek dinos (even parasaurs work), enable mating, some air conditioners and boom infinite oil, metal, electronics and element

Argy - equus - anky , must have mid game combination, between the 3 all but resources with hardley any weight to begin with is reduced. Equus reduces weight on the most resources. Solo official - equus and mining drill is all you need.

PRO TIP SOME DONT KNOW THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: he didnt mention this but the frog when harvesting certain bugs gives straight cementing paste along with chitin so you can essentially double output if you grind buts and you tribemate grinds stone. Somewhere on the island I believe theres a cave with a fuck ton of meganeura (the only insect on that list I remember) so have fun with your ungodly amounts of paste

You can also tame a dunkleosteus to gather oil underwater

My friends and I play on pve and we always are lacking on resources, then we found a load of dedicated storage and now have 50,000 cementing paste, 50,000 polymer, and over 100,000 ingots

Been thinking about making an Industrial Forge for a while now. Took a look at what resources I had and as it turned out only need to fly my Anky to the volcano to get about 400 obsidian. After making this Industrial Forge the first word out of my mouth was WOW! THIS THING IS HUGE. I thought I had a large base, it won't fit with out some serious remodeling. 2 x 2 foundations and two walls high !!! This thing costs a lot and when it gets put in place it will have to be exactly where its needed !!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, still glad I made it !!! Oh no, I was wrong it only looked two walls high from inside my base which is approximately 8x10 by 3 high. When I looked at it in green from outside my base I found its 5, maybe 6 walls tall. Yea, OK, This is going to take a lot of thought and most likely completely renovating my base !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you already mention that you forgot the frog method for cementing paste for this video but I also want to add that the frog is a black pearl gather. I was just swimming on Viking bay and decided to attack the scorpion looking creatures next to the Viking wreck. My frog with 311% melee that normally hits “64s”(damage text) will hit this scorpion looking creatures a (434s) with its secondary attack. The only thing to worry about is to be careful since the torpor goes insanely high with just a couple hits. So if you don’t pay attention to status bars…they can knock your frog out cold. Never happened to me in all the tries I did to test it.but had also a good saddle(want a good saddle bp, gen 1..the frog escort mission would give you more than you will ever need)

With the achitina paste I used the rare flower to make it aggressive and trapped it with railings and just left it alone until it deagroad and it produced the paste for me, I did this on the island

good tip for getting oil tame a itchy if u could and kill balisasaur or tame tameing balidisaur u get littel oil over time u get atlest 200 for killling balisaurs

6:03 Since you're mentioning Tek dinos, I think it's worth mentioning that by midgame, you usually have a semi-decent harvester (a Theriz for instance, but not exclusively) parked somewhere in your base that could be put to good use on Genesis1's lunar biome. If you want stacks of electronics, dust, oil and scrap metal, that's definitely the way ! While we're on the topic, let's remind our midgame friends that in any forge (refining or industrial), 2 metal = 1 metal ingots... BUT ! 1 scrap metal = 1 scrap metal ingot. You want to get metal fast ? Again, Tek dinos are a good option, and Genesis1's lunar biome will get you tons. If you're going to that biome, place a few beds first and then fight everything made out of Tek. If your server allows a flyer on Genesis, it's even better to bring a couple of cryopods and switch between an Argentavis and your harvesting dino between areas. Lastly, I can't help but mention that on Genesis, you can farm any mats... by not farming mats ! A lot of people (particularly in PvP) do lots of missions, gather points, and buy whatever resources they need with those points. Ok it's a bit the lazy option, but if you're tired of the grind, missions can be a nice change of pace. And by midgame you can do several of them, if you dare try !

I use my arsenel of guns as secondary defence for things my high level dino mounts can take care of i dont burn through to much gunpowder that way

A great way for gas on aberration is to put a load of gas balls and green gems in a chem bench and make gas crafted. It is way easier than oil gathering

Put wood into info forge. Take mammoth with quetz and fly wiping trees one run Es enough for crazy amount of bullets

Gunpowder is surprisingly expensive, it's funny because it's really easy to craft, just one spark powder and one charcoal, both of which are easy to get your hands on, but the problem arises when you actually start to use it. I tried making a small amount of ammo for the lava cave, just fifty rifle ammo and a hundred shotgun shells, and found that I needed a disgusting amount of gunpowder, I think it was gonna cost like fifteen hundred to craft it all

Use shadow stake instead of night vision easy to get and make. Use grill on quetz platform strategy and another person with trex or giga he kills you cook :) shadow stake gives better vision than night vision.

I would just take one of my tribemates and farm metal and other resources for hours on end, we would go around the maps and mine every single medal node we saw. We had a method where we could hold tons of raw metal without having to stop to unload as well.
