Hey M.C !!! I just got delivery of the two Civivis I asked you about ! The Elementum CF g10 Damascus and a Riffle in dark Damascus with Carbon fiber. Couldnt believe how quickly Blade HQ got those me ! Must've been cause I used your link? So now I've got the issue of which do I keep . Ones for me ,and the other is for my buddy's 40th b-day ! Also as a bonus I just found yesterday my Benchmade AFCK in ATS-34 that's been missing for a very long time !! Like 5 years ? Just might have to put that on Ebay now if the wife has her way ! Anyways THANKS for the great suggestion on the Civivi's ! They're both beautiful ,and deciding which to keep as mine will be tough !! Keep the great videos coming BRO !! Thanks again !!!

Hey man! Quick question. How’s the lock on the blade, any UPandDOWN bladeplay? ..I ordered one recently and it had up and down bladeplay, the dealer checked all they had in stock and every single one of them had the same issue, even the pin stop was moving on mine.

Hey MC, what advice would you give to a collector to win an argument with someone that doesn’t understand collecting knives? Even after explaining its more than just a knife for example some knives are literally works of art that I enjoy collecting and displaying. It feels like I’m fighting a losing battle lol

The only argument you should bother giving for any hobby is "it's fun and I like them"

Casually ask them the first thing they'd buy if they won the lottery. If they answer with something intentionally (and obviously) financially responsible, keep calling BS until they reveal what type of luxury they would splurge on. Play devil's advocate with their choice and make them over explain it. This will reveal their own justifications for something they find value in even though others might not. Then drop the hammer about it being no different than your own interests in knives. This will enrage them. They will spit a lot while trying to recover. Congratulations, you have won.

Reminds me of the BM 755 MPR, a techno and medford all at once. I had to take the glass breaker off mine. I have never used a glass breaker ever. If you smack the end of a knife on the corner of the window it will shatter, just be careful haha. This knife feels like a bar of soap sculptured to fit. Love love love this knife. I didn't like my lil devlin.

I use mine as a lobster fisherman. They great knife for cutting stuff. Short blades are good for boats. Wide edge works well for those trip out for 7 to 10 days. Mine has a slight patina and love it. The finger choil is nice so you don't slip. I've had this knife in hand for hours on end. It's needs a lanyard to get pinky on and the glass breaker needs to be off. CPMD2 is great stuff.

I think what makes people mad is that they think knives should only be tools and never be even slightly adjacent to toys, which is good, because then I have less competition for Midgards Messer and Winterblade knives. 😁

The Midgards folding knives look fantastic. On the other hand… I bought a $290 fixed blade, the titanium flame anodized Hodur and it really is a shoddy knife. The blade looks like it has been cast, unfinished & really rough in places. S30V and it has surface rust on parts of the jimping. Unaligned too. It has a 3D printed sheath which looks and feels great, but I really don’t trust it would last long. Really quite disappointing for what it could’ve been. Will be getting a refund.

8:56 I agree. Honestly, if you're using a knife for knife things, any lock is almost superfluous. I hear people whine and bitch about lock failure when they beat the spine against something like they're framing a house with it. Dude.. if you're using a knife in a manner that causes a lock to fail, you deserve to get cut. That being said, do I own a CS AD10 and AD15? Hell yes I do 🤣

To answer your question about what you are doing with your knife that needs it to be able to lock solidly, my daily knife use involves cutting straps on units of lumber, which can be made of anything from nylon webbing, fiberglass reinforced plastic, or thin mild steel. I slide the knife under the strap and lever up through it. I depend on a good lock, and I work in the city at a lumber yard, so I'm not carrying a fixed blade on my belt. That said, I wouldn't touch this stupid looking knife.

I'd never buy that damn thing if only because I'd lose the stupid little screw that has to be carried separately. I mean, couldn't they thread the stupid lanyard hole so it could be screwed in there to have it with the knife? Or drill and tap a separate hole in the butt spacer. Geez, there's a dozen ways to do it. Or....just DONT ADD THE STUPID THING TO BEGIN. I don't know why that bothers me so much but it does. Lol. Just don't do it unless you do it all the way, ya know. Or don't listen to me. I'll never buy that goofy pocket hog anyway.

There are actually some countrys and places in the World wich have something called "laws". These so called laws prohibit you from carrying or even owning these without this bolt. It makes it a 2 handed folder wich is legal to own every where in the world. So its actually the opposit of useless as the maker can sell his Knifes world wide.
