This is Midge Ure at his very best and i liked Ultravox i was a fan of Ultravox when i heard Vienna , midge is a very talented singer he had some classic solo songs and i couldn’t believe that they were reforming and i think the tour started in Belfast in 2009, so i did get to see one of my favourite bands to come out of the 1980s

It is a Magic song to me.And for ever will be.

Absolutely perfect my dear Midge!

The amount of famous rock and pop stars on that stage (at the same time!) is unreal - as well as Midge and obviously Eric Clapton, I saw Phil Collins(drums), Elton John(piano), Brian May(?) there in the background I think......and Howard Jones (?) also at the back on a synthesiser. There might have been a famous name amongst the backing vocals, but I couldn't make out any! Still, it's a mighty impressive line up! . Shows you the power of Midge - everyone wants to work with him it seems. His standing after Band Aid went stratospheric.....and rightly so, as he won the respect of his fellow musicians.
