MIDI Filter using Arduino Nano (Prototype)

8 жыл бұрынA MIDI Note On Filter . Each press of one of the 16 buttons will allow Note on messages to pass or not. An idea so good am surprised it wasn't done before.
Backing track selected at random. Film done with a phone so not the best quality video or audio but the jist is there.
Only Note On messages are filtered, everything else passes through.

I need a midi filter. When I press a pedal it stop "midi on's" , on relase it is back to "normal"(letting everything through).This pedal is the sustain pedal. Ca nthis be done easily?

why does the music slow down/stop when you press some of your keys? is it related to your midi stream containing both clock and note data?

It's because I was being very lazy and used the Arduino "Delay" function to debounce the buttons. Not good practice but the idea is that the channels are set once rather than off/on throughout a song. One day I will fix it....
