Hello everyone, MT here with the usual trainspotting action! Welcome once again onboard LSL’s Midland Pullman HST set, riding it from York to Llandudno in Wales under the tour name, “North Wales Coastal Pullman” on 1st June 2023. The tour started from Berwick-Upon-Tweet with York being the last pickup point for passengers before journeying non-stop from there to the destination. Along the way, it did make a few stops at signals for running ahead of schedule, at Manchester Victoria to change members of staff working on the train and running slowly at certain times to let regular passenger services through. Much of the scenery I saw whilst travelling was truly astonishing including the Pennines, the beaches at Traeth Pensarn and the view towards over Colwyn Bay. When the train did arrive at Llandudno, it was about half an hour late, but it was no big deal when travelling in an stylish first class coach.
Considering I had done filming of the interior when I travelled on the set before, there was not much to redo it all again; however, I did another take of the set’s buffet car with a closer inspection. Meanwhile, since the last trip, the company who owns the train had gotten a little more stricter with passenger safety with people leaning their heads out of its carriage doors. Therefore, the next time I going travelling on the set, there is likely chance of being no film of the trip it’ll be doing.
