❤❤❤ thank you so much! Slow finger style blues are the most desirable lessons for most of us. Something simple, slow, and easy to learn will make us finally take the guitar instead of cell phone.

What are your favorite strings on that guitar? I have the same one, but a signature model.

Lakewood fits their guitars with Addario coated phosphor bronze strings (XSAPB1152 in my case). After about 6 weeks the 3rd and 4th strings became ragged, especially the 3rd string had abundant loose pieces of coating hanging. I replaced those middle strings with regular phosphor bronze ones (D'Addario EJ26) and now, another 6 weeks later : the two coated E and A strings still look/sound like new but the D and G regular strings have clear playing wear, they don't look shiny anymore where they have been touched and they lost their crisp sound. So I ordered some D'Addario XT coated strings and will see how that develops. I remember I tried out coated strings when they were something new, probably about 30 years ago, and didn't like the greasy feel. Apparently they have improved and I will give them another chance. My German friend Rainer Brun uses coated strings and changes them once a year!
