Quite a tough one, a near perfect run must be done to catch up to the Velocis on time for the finish, and once you're with them you better hope not to crash as the Emu will take 3 business days to climb up back to 80mph (the speed at which this car can fishtail).
On the upside, it has a surprisingly high top speed which makes this whole run possible. You have to be ahead of the Velocis by the last ramp. You also have to keep it at top speed as much as you can to have a chance, and you can't fishtail too much (it'll damage the car more when you crash) because of how long this race is and how much traffic is coming directly at you. Enjoy :)

My lil bro got this game for his 12th birthday summer of 03 while we were visiting Gram Gram in L.A.. We stayed in front of an old tube tv with a cable convertor and played this game the rest our vacation in California. No regrets 🤙

Fishtailing works only on pc tho i got it on my ps2 there is such a thing not possible

You can fishtail on certain cars on playstation 2. Not as effectively but it works. Try fishtailing on the Lusso XT and it will go to 249 mph, 402 kmh very quickly. Emu does it alright, Schneller V8, Lusso XT, Saikou, Veloci all can fishtail (not as effectively as PC) on ps2. Lusso XT is probably best at it on ps2

No mods. He's using a glitch/technique called the "fishtail" where you sway side to side using handbrake. Supposedly, the devs wanted players to drift around corners with the intent of not losing momentum, but it instead ended up being used as an alternative/challenging way of speed by players. This was corrected in later games, but each of the later titles have their own unique quirks that allow you to gain/maintain speed.

@@rehanali-hy9tk You kind of can on PS2 actually. The problems controllers have in general is that there will be a turn delay and it's very easy to lose control. On keyboard, you can turn instantly, allowing you to pick up speed really quick.
