Here are the Midnight from New Year's Eve on Sydney Harbour with the soundtrack I created. The brief for the clock ticking over to 2020 was for an all-Australian mix of songs that everyone can dance to. It's a party that the whole world is invited to join in on, so I wanted to make sure everyone has a moment of 'oh I love this song!'
It was really important to me to start with indigenous artists for both shows, and Midnight starts with 2000 & Whatever by Electric Fields.

Possibly the best SydNYE since 2012, usually its London that takes the cake but nah, 2020 just went home to Sydney. Brilliant soundtrack m8

Remember if you don’t get to hear the music at the fireworks make sure to stay in the car or at home and tune in the radio for music. Make sure to stay at the hotel near the Harbour Bridges.

NICEEE MUSIC CHOICE BROO🎆 I always wake up at 5:00 am (pacific time)to watch it but with the other soundtrack. But it’s still amazing to watch and it’s even better with this soundtrack 🤩🎆🎇

Hello Dan Murphy! I'm Brazilian and I'm a big fan of Sydney's New Year's fireworks. What has changed this year regarding copyright? Since 2015 the tv songs are not the official ones, so I have to download the official radio soundtrack (an Australian friend records every year) and have to edit the video with the official soundtrack. I'm finding it weird this year, because youtube isn't blocking videos with the official soundtrack. I even posted a video on my channel and youtube did not block. What is happening differently? Oh, I was already forgetting ... Congratulations on working with the songs. It was the best SydNYE in history!

Thanks so much and I'm really glad you enjoyed the music this year! It was a dream come true to work on it. Not sure what's happening with the copyright this year, but hopefully the videos will stay up. :)

Great job with the soundtrack especially the finale, was one of the best in years,, are you doing the soundtrack this year? won't be the same I guess but should have a big impact

@@matthewwaring6066 It was a special soundtrack created by Electric Fields called Stardust. The song was composed for international footage.
