I loved this movie, it's exactly what a Peanuts movie needed to be.

"There's a lot of Snoopy in this, which is so cool." Both so cool and Joe Cool.

It's really amazing how great this movie was after all the other trainwreck of revivals we had recently it was really good and cute

I just saw this in theaters. It was great! Hollywood take notes...THIS is how you make an adaptation of a cartoon! To everyone still interested go see this in theaters or as soon as you can or else you'll feel like a total blockhead!

I have known the Peanuts Gang all my life, on paper, & on tv. Needless to say, I kept tearing up during the 'Peanuts Movie', from both nostalgia, & emotional impact. It touched on nearly all the major Peanuts points, but it also told a story that reminds us why these characters have stood the test of time. It was a fine film in 2D, but there were scenes that would have looked pretty cool in 3D, maybe enough to see it that way, you decide. 4 stars, seal of approval, it gets the works. Of all the Charlie Browns I know, he's still the Charlie Browniest.

I am so glad this movie was as great as it was. So much so that I saw it twice. Oh and Brad, in case you're still wondering about the kid whose name was composed of numbers, there is a very VERY obscure Peanuts character named 555 95472 who appeared in some strips in the 60s.

Charles Schulz was *very* involved in the screenwriting for all of the Peanuts horts and movies, especially in regards to Charlie Brown. One of his most famous quotes was actually an aside to the vocals director was that "He (Charlie Brown) should be a loser. The average person isn't used to winning."

This brought back so many childhood moments for when I would watch the Peanuts movies on TV in the 80s and 90s. Only I could almost NEVER remember which one is which by the name alone; I always had to go by "the camp one", "the spelling bee one", "the French one", etc. Now I just wanna watch all of them again. In fact, I still have a Peanuts comic strip collection I have to finish; I need to dig that up! I'm too broke for a movie right now (shame, 'cuz now I wanna see this), but I can still make due with the classics.

That movie is so great that it makes me wish that there are more movies that respect the original source material. I'd say that this movie does a good job with it along with "Mr. Peabody and Sherman" by DreamWorks.

I got that cancer special scrambled in my head with Snoopy Come Home, I thought that Snoopy's original owner was dying, and he wanted to see her before she died. Then I saw it again recently and that wasn't the case.

To think Blue Sky Studios went from Ice Age sequels to this. If they could make more adaptations of old but popular children's stories with unique animation, they could easily be the new juggernauts of animated movies. Especially since Disney and Pixar are going crazy with reboots and sequels, and Dreamworks is practically dead. Am I the only one who would love to see an animated Archie movie?

The Cinema theaters in my birth town are both a lot older than 1989 and have quite good 3D screenings. It's completely possible to modernize screens, sound systems and projectors. Anyway I watched both Daria and Beavis and Butthead (and about any other cartoon on MTV), doesn't seem a contradiction to me.
