I’ve been doing KZfaq for almost 7 years. I’ve accumulated over 20,000 views in total with all my videos. I’m just now getting consistent because of my time in the military (I am still active). Finding the consistency was one of the biggest problems for me when I came back to doing KZfaq back in 2022. But I feel like I am doing better now. I got a good setup, I’m steady figuring out ways how to improve my videos rather it being edits or quality in general. The energy I put in my videos is 10 out of 10 (me personally). I just want to show the world how entertaining I can be with the videos I put out. Thank you midnight man for the tips & things of that nature. I know one day I’ll be known for entertaining people across this platform. It’s not a race, it’s a marathon. I won’t never lose faith in it.

@@ShinobiMarq Bro I understand, don’t lose faith & grind hard. Just like the military wanted us to self-improve ourselves, this is the time to show it. We got it bro I promise you. I’ve had plenty of nights where I’m like “Damn, I’m giving it all I got & no one notices.” But yet I’m worrying about the “now” when I should worry about the future. This world has billions of people who search on here to find content/entertainment. Hopefully they would find us as great gaming content creators. We got it bro!

Wow what a pleasant surprise, did not expect to be mentioned in this video 😂. Totally agree with what you said and I stopped the let’s play a few months ago bc my viewership dropped. Realised I messed up pretty bad 😅 Getting back to what I used to do now, hopefully can start bringing the views back up! I've been using KZfaq to just upload random things from games, and even streamed some. Didn't get many subs and gave up. Lately though, I've been actually trying this time. Clipping, trimming and mixing together, even made an intro with what I can, thanks to your little rocket league clip video I have gotten better at editing thankfully even over the week or so. I will seriously be binging your videos just to try getting bigger. I do not want my face (mainly because I do not own a good camera, nor money to spend on one) Thank you for your videos

Looks like you’ve dipped around from reaction, to gaming, to vlogs. Lifestyle gaming content, especially with the live events and tying that back to actual games might be something to look at. Just make sure the games you cover have that audience crossover. NBA 2K and apex don’t go together for example

Hey I think it's important to note for those that have old channels and are coming back to making content should really consider on whether or not to make a new channel or stay on their current ones. I came to the conclusion that my channel has been through way too many niche's over the years that I made a new one as a fresh start and to not get pushed against by the conflicting content that'll confuse the algorithm and potential viewers.

I would say most of this applies to streaming on twitch too! I think once I get the ps5 camera and they can see how I look while playing the viewers will go up. Voice over don’t tend to do well unless you have a silky/pleasing voice! I like the idea of sticking to a certain style of game too. If people come to you for fps games they might not want to see you playing an rpg. It all depends.

This is a really good video, and some points you've mentioned are things I am guilty of myself. Specifically comparing myself to others, such as much larger gaming channels who focus on the no commentary gameplay as I do, and being disappointed in their content which leads me to ask why people watch their stuff when it's clearly subpar. Not to say that I think I am better than anyone, but more that I am putting in effort into what I am producing, and wondering why I am not picking up these subscribers / viewers. In any case, creating videos on KZfaq is very fun, and trying to find your niche to stand out in a saturated space is a challenge but can be very rewarding.
@GamingwithStilez
@GamingwithStilez 2 ай бұрын
Depends on the algorithm in some instances, and in how new your channel is. Also, it depends on their viewer base. Their established members will likely watch them over anyone else if the content is comparable. Trust. Relationship. Guy has been watching Tuber for 6 years and will not easily start watching a new channel with the same content. People might watch 3 channels with the same content, max. Build your own viewer base. Those viewers are more likely to bring in viewer bases from other creators. Be yourself. Always. Go nuts. Be introverted. Be special. Be you. (I am not used to talking when playing games. Yes, i talk. Mumble to myself and talk nonsense, but i am not used to talking to people who are physically not there). I talk more watching an episode of Resident Alien.
@GamingwithStilez
@GamingwithStilez 2 ай бұрын
But, also take into account that you can learn a lot from established creators and their viewers bases. Learn what you have to do while being yourself to improve your content. After that, all you can do is wait. (Not sure if you are allowed to do polls concerning other creators. Could ask youtube viewers why they love content from these creators.)

I guess making better thumbnails as mine look super basic, making the quality better, be able to do 60 fps, and being much more consistent. I’ve been making videos for almost a year however I haven’t been that consistent due to having a job. Starting next year I will get into full force with making videos as well as live streaming. I realized that if you want to have a successful gaming career, you have to treat it like a full time job which I will be doing starting next year. Eventually the time will come, just keep being consistent and keep on improving.

Worked so hard on quality and video style setup etc. but I think the problem is on camera personality it’s still a struggle trying to be entertaining 😔 I try to involve the audience with easy games to jump in and join but it’s hard being seen on this platform 😐

Is there a sweet spot for how frequently you post? I’ve just started a save on EA FC 24 that should run for 5-6 seasons. I need to post at least five times per week to make this happen. Is this too much? How about posting a video every day?

Been doing KZfaq for around 5 months properly and focusing on one underserved niche is really the best advice starting off in an underserved area when your brand new to making videos is the key to learning whilst you grow I now have 700+ subs and 169k views and I’m still terrible at editing! 😂 (btw I edit all my vids with share factory studio)

@@MidnightMan agreed 👍 and after a while you can build an audience that you can take to places you want to go because they’re there for you and not so much the niche ✅

I have a small KZfaq channel with call of duty content but recently KZfaq took away my views and I don’t know why. If you have any advice, I would appreciate your answer

I just started a gaming channel this year. I do 2k and feel it getting stale since the game came out 9 months ago. I’ve thought about doing sports games instead of only 2k. College football coming out soon and I know that game will be popular. Any idea if this is smart or dumb?

So im having trouble really finding a niche i fit into, for as long as I remember i’ve just been a person who plays any game like I’m currently playing spider-man to prep for spider-man 2 but right before that I’ve been playing stars war n horror games like would me playing strictly single player games n occasionally a one n done multiplayer video be a good enough niche?

If you want to do single player games, I would start out with the same genre single player games. Such as spiderman, batman, wolverine, etc. There's an audience that can be built around that. Horror and space games don't mix with that

I don’t really know what to think. I want to have a yt channel but sticking to one topic is just not for me. I just post playing with my friends and random things. And I’m still on ps4 recording from it. What am I doing wrong if I just want to have fun ?
