My attempt at writing a short horror scene (it was for a fanfiction): "Tanaka-kun, can you please go in Class 203-D if Suzuki-sensei can let us burrow his yard stick and his earth Globe. Just for our practice with it?" Hina, of course agreed with a cheerful smile on her face. Up-stares she went and knocked at the door of classroom 203-D. There, as she listened in to see if the teacher would open she heard faint squeels of pain. "Hum...Are you okay?" she asked in a worried voice. Then, a voice uttered: "Bitch-chan, I think someone surprised us." Listening only her courage, Hina putted away her glasses and opened the door. Things were worse than she thought. A boy with red hair forcefully bit some frail girl's upper thigh, and clearly she wasn't happy about it, to judge by her painful moans and sobs. "Hey you! Find someone your own size." Her claim was riddiculous, as she was ridiculously small, but it did get his attention for a bit. Instinctively, she grabbed the broom next to her, to use as a defensive weapon if things really got tough. "Umm. Senpai, LEAVE PLEASE AND CALL SOME HELP, NOW!" Without even thinking, she thrusted towards the hooligan to force him to focus his attention solely on her. It did work. He tried to catch her, but she was to quick. Hina knew this wasn't the smartest decision. But something awful would happen if she didn't insure he would stay in this classroom. She needed to buy time for her poor senpai to fetch the necessary authorities. "Want to creep on someone, than pick me. I'll defend myself tooth and nails." As an only response, the red-haired boy laughed. "Now, now, you try to keep me in here so that I get caught. Smart girl. Pity it won't work. -Yeah! Fight me! Or do you only hurt those who can't defend themselves, you dirty coward!" As an only response, he brutally grabbed her neck with only one hand and squeezed, making her choke. Worse, he lifted her in the air. "I can't...I can't breath! It hurts! I feel my throat is tearing apart! A normal person won't be able to do a neck-lift like that! F-ck! Not unless they are a body builder, which he clearly isn't! Quick, you got to think of something..." She came in with the worse-case scenario would be that he would throw a desk at her. Something she could dodge. But THIS! As her head began to spin from the pain and lack of oxygen, she jolted her body with all her might, in a desperate attempt to fight for her life. Her throat hurt so much she wondered if she could one day speak again. She managed to cause enough shock for him to let her go by a strong high-kick. Only for him to catch her right after by the leg, making her unable to use her lower body in anything meaningful. "Now, now. You have been a bad girl, spying on us like that. I'll have to get rid of you." She felt another jolt of pain. A pain of two large needles piercing her flesh, and a strange drop being injected into her. Her head hurt, her neck hurt, her eyes hurt. She slowly felt a certain dizziness. It took her a moment to realize: he was drinking her blood. Tears fell out of desperation of being helpless and unable to even scream. She tried to scream, but only managed to rattle. If no one would come, this would be the end. He stopped, but the bleeding didn't, as if someone had injected an anti-coagulant into her blood stream. With what ever strength she had left, she decided to try and walk. She couldn't. There was nothing more to do but to wait and cry, and perhaps hope that someone might rescue her. But even that was dubious. She could barely move, her blood steadily flowing out of her body and her vocal cords too damage to produce loud sounds. "I don't want to die! Please, someone save me! I want to live! " The bleeding eventually stopped. How much she lost? A liter? Maybe more? Doesn't matter. The floor felt so cold. Then a pair of hands grabbed her and carried her. She closed her eyes. Her vision was too blurry now anyways to recognize a face. The only thing she felt was that she didn't feel safe in those hands.

So as i write Little Weird Village on of the things that take my time in the horror scenes is that I build up some tension towards the scene, and elaborate the surrounding environment making the reader to picture how spooky it is then bring out the villain slowly detailing her /his scary body shape and make the dialogue intense
