shari777 smith it's a song sung by us as Lakota people.When the war party would come back to the camp. We would sing these songs with the women as a victory song. It's always a pleasure to hear this song at a powwow or gathering. Helps bring back old ways aho.

@kurtandkim7 жыл бұрын
No offense but why ain't this a Pow Wow Drum ? That drum they are using if anyone is paying close attention is a regular Base Drum that is used for regular drum sets if everyone pays attention you will even see on the drum head it says Remo which is like A drum set company lol I mean no offense but can't this go against tradition / native ways I mean I am just curious here I am Not being smart or coming here in anger but just concerned

kurt travers they're bein old school that's what they used way back when pow wows were'nt about winning
@gusjones56423 жыл бұрын
The drum is whatever they want to use. Tradition doesn't say you need a certain kind of drum kiddo
@morethanasentence3 жыл бұрын
Many times (We) the American Indian Movement of California used a Base Drum during demonstrations because we knew there was a good chance we would be arrested and didn’t want the cops destroying our good drum. Most times we used our good drum when there was no plan for civil disobedience. A drum is a drum. It’s the heartbeat of the people.
