I think the reason it ended is because the game counted Midone dying to the neutrals - a very strange situation, and kind of inappropriate for a tiebreaker in a $1,000,000 tournament

It is inappropriate. Dota is supposed to be a team game. No shit quinn will win this when midone isnt really the strongest mechanically in mid lately. Its a dumb way to do the tiebreaker instead of just playing a best of 1

From having to TP and then dying to neutrals first, I think Midone handled it pretty well later on and almost killed Quin, impressive ngl

also assuming he did use his third raze would quinn really just stand there and let himself get triple razed? this is all assuming quinn would just stand there. His reaction would be different obviously. he's a pro player.

Like most 1v1 mid matches this was kind of a disaster with the rules. The game should not spawn any runes, and it should be more clear that it's not "2 kills = win", it is actually "2 deaths = loss"

they should clearly state every rule. whether you can deward, whether you can pick up runes, whether you can block. the rules are so unclear it's so unfair with so much at stake.

the number of ppl salty for Quinn taking this is amazing lol. Midone never had a chance, it wasn't close, "1 right click away" is easy to calculate for pros in micro situations and Quinn was never in serious pressure start to finish.

I mean, 1,5k networth difference, clear 1 level difference, his opponent had forced to tp base once, died to neutrals once xd And incel dota 2 fans claiming it was close. It's as dominant as it gets when it comes to Sf vs Sf match up. Quinn didn't even need to trade in the end, since Midone was clearly turtling he could just hit towers and win in the long round, probably bored. I personally got extremely bored and embarrassed by watching Midone. I get it people don't like Quinn and it has its merits but look at the game that's been played in front of you and make your judgment afterwards man. Midone got manhandled.

they have no idea what they’re doing, playing this as a regular 5x5 game, any 14 yo homeschooled russian kid playing 1x1 everyday would have destroyed any of them on 3rd wave. And would have paused on them before the final raze too

Quinn could kill him when he was chasing him he made alot of mistakes and he didnt hit him for some reason. Also i think the salve would have been enough to kill quinn if he used it. He got an undercliff miss he would win i believe.

I mean technically he could take it according to ESL rules in the rulebook. However, casters said that they were terrible at reading rules (not offended just jokes) so either they didn't know, or he knew but gentlemen agreement so what can you say. Even if he takes it, it doesn't change the whole things.

It’s a agreement between 2 teams. That why both dont have bottles. If they agree to runes, you will see bottles from both.
