I prefer Midori products not just because it's FP friendly, but this book has character. It's minimalistic branding, it's unassuming aura whilst being one of the best in business makes writing in it an absolute pleasure. No other brand has given me this level of satisfaction yet.

I've been using Midori MD for my bullet journal for a while and it's lovely with the fountain pens I use.

I am loving the Midori MD product line. I have the A4 Light grid notebooks, the A5 dot grid journal, the A6 lined notebooks, and the A7 sticky notes in all the available guide formats.

I like Midori papers a lot, and I appreciate the various formats it comes in. The pad you're showing with the adhesive on two sides and the cut corner is a brilliant design. That said, there are times I prefer white paper over off-white, and I wish Midori offered that.

Me too! I adore midori A5 and A6 notebooks and the plastic covers for them. I collage or watercolor the notebooks' very plain covers and protect with the handy, perfect-ftting plastic covers. I've also slipped those inexpensive Hobonichi plastic folders with the same artwork as on the expensive covers in the midori plastic covers and -- voila!-- A faux hobonichi a5 cover for a fraction of the price. I use the midori pads for letter-writing. love those too. Only wish they had the grid on both sides.

You're the second person in two days to recommend this paper to me! I've used a Midori Traveler's Notebook (which has apparently changed its branding) and liked it. Maybe I need to look at these other offerings. You certainly show a lot in the notebooks!

I bought 2 A4 pads of this paper from a local stockist and I must say that it has become my favorite paper now that the tomoe river 52gsm has been changed. Right now it's Midori MD paper (I haven't tried their cotton paper yet), Tomoe 68 gsm paper, and Cosmo Air Light Paper. I'll use, but don't really love Rhodia or Clairfontaine.

I love my Midori Grain notepad it's lovely paper. I use it as my EDC notepad.

I think the biggest problem for me with this paper is finding a place where it is affordable. Among my paper pricing tables, it's one of the more expensive for me. Where do you find it at the best price? MD paper does certainly give a real pop to the colors, especially for a cream paper. I do find that it's a little too hard for some stub pens to write a clean line on, but with round point fountain pen nibs you get a really crisp line. The feedback is also one of the real draws of this paper, as you don't find that everywhere.

Have you tried Cosmo Air Light paper? It's not as thin as Tomoe River but it sure gives it a run for its money when it comes to fountain pen performance! It's my most recent fave

I like a little toothiness in my paper. It helps me control a bit my very out-of-control handwriting!

I recently bought one of these for the first time, and whilst I love how it looks, my fountain pen doesn't write very well on it. It's a little streaky - does anyone else find the same? It's a bit of a shame given how great the MD notebooks look.
