It's a time when the days are at their longest and the nights are at their shortest. People come together to celebrate the middle of summer with bonfires and various traditions. In this video, I'm sharing the highlights of our celebration this year. Sit back, relax, and enjoy watching!

Stunning images and natural sounds make this a relaxing video. The Solstice ( June 21) is celebrated only a little in the USA. At the end of May we celebrate those lost in war with Memorial Day, the unofficial start of summer. July 4th marks our Independence Day with many celebrations, fireworks displays and vacation time. The first Monday of September is Labor Day, in recognition of America's workers. It is our end of Summer Holiday. I like your Mid-Summer celebration.

Ah, yes, I experienced the celebration of the Labor Day when I was in Buffalo a couple of years ago 👍 Oh, two years - it really doesn't seem so long ago...

@@OreMan Yes, It seems like last year you went to Niagara Falls and toured around my state. Time goes by faster every year. Greetings to your Princess with her pretty crown of flowers.

I live in Galicia and we do celebrate midsummer. People light bonfires, when the flames go down people jump over the remains of the fire. We usually grill sardines, some people also grill pork chops.

Ahh, sounds good, just like out celebrations here, except for that sardine grilling thing 🙂
