Congratulations! FIVE YEAR! My MIELE washing machine is now 5 years old and it is still running strong! I hope it keep on doing the good work in the future too! Can I still recommend this machine? YES!

hi there! i have a top load Miele W 204 :-) hope it would last long time. previously i had almost all top load 1) "slim front load " Siemens (lasted 4 year) 2) Fagor (5 years) 3) INdesit (3 years) 4) Whirpool (3 years) 5) AEG Electrolux (9 months , main drum collapsed) 5 stars to the music from a musician!!! :-D

I would have loved to have had one of these but Miele dont sell toploaders in England anymore where i live, only front loaders.

They offer less and less toploaders on own homepage, now only one, price is around 2000 €..(

In Finland they sell these machines (and some other variations/more expensive one also). Machine this size (narrow) is sometimes the one and the only option for small apartments. Any bigger machine will not fit at all. It is good that they make these narrow washing machines also.

These models are made in Czech Republic at the Miele Unicov plant.

Well I have to check this. I have to call Miele and ask what country this machine has really been made. In the back of the machine there is mentioned only Germany as seen on this video.

Quality Brand Channel Yes, it only gives you the address of Miele in Germany on the back of the appliance but does not specify ‘Made in Germany’. 😬 As far as i am aware, all top loader washing machines, domestic tumble dryers and G4000 series dishwashers are all produced in Czech Republic now.

Sorry this took so long, but I finally called Miele's customer service today, and you are right! Thank you for helping! This Miele W 196 washing machine has been Made in Czech Republic. It is Miele's own factory! Yes!

@@qualitybrandchannel9853 so basically they sell you a skoda with an audi logo and price :) Mine died a month ago, (after 20 years of service) it's a very stable machine and quiet machine. But I won't buy another one, maybe the electrolux or brandt (better value for price I think)

Where physics rules applicable, this top loader will last longer only if the capacity is very small or you seldom wash clothes😁

I have a Sears Kenmore super capacity washer that lasted 28 years!! I just started having a problem with it. I hate to see it go! 😢😢

Would you buy Miele again or would you say a cheaper one is enough? I ask because my next washer should be an topload washer and Miele is very expensive in Germany (1200€) and the cheaper one’s are only 500€

This is my first Miele washer. I want know how good Miele really is. If it last long and long I would recommend it of course! This machine is still going strong! No need of service. At this point I would recommend Miele! Yes! Pay more or less? That is hard question! Cheap one or durable & quality one. I think it is stupid to buy machines that will break soon. It is not good for environment or your money. This one does the washing job nicely and it does not make big sound of it. If you can get the money, buy Miele! Yes!
