I saw a real Mig23 in a open air museum in Hungary in 1987. It is huge!!

Nice job! One item many people seem to get wrong is the main gear door that sit on top of the wheels is tipped to far forward. I don't know if it's the model itself, but they should be a little more level. The Flogger is an incredible machine!

I had never thought to use blu tacc like that to aid in masking. GENIUS! Lovely build, I only wish I had an airbrush to replicate such lovely pieces.

i am building this kit,a Mig23MF in G.D.R. (East German) markings! The east German decals was so hard to find but I still got it through ebay.The kit's good overall but still some flaws especially the intakes and the engine nozzle need to be replaced by resin parts(Also acquired through mail order)! I am a bit upset by Trumpeter is they never providing "Pilots" like Tamiya's1/48 does! Personally I choose testors to paint my aircraft: Green Drab,Olive green and Earth Brown as camouflage and the belli is Topside Blue, most aircrafts of the warsaw pact has a deeper light blue than RLM65! Have fun guys! 😁 Keep up good work!

great work on that mig 23 I built the same kit as not the best fitting kit plus the main landing gear is weak and complicated recommend aftermarket metal landing gear for anyone wanting to tackle this kit.

BEAUTIFUL Job man!The only `thing` I see many Mig-23 modelers misplace are the main gear doors. They are not that far canted forward and down.Aside from that REALLY nice job!

I'm very suprised to see those cockpit details being used. Decals for the instruments rarely look good in my honest opinion. I find painting the detail in by hand much more fun anyway.

Hi, great build, really like it. I have the Eduard kit to build for the MIG-23BN, and have a couple of questions. Did you have any problems glueing painted surfaces, what glue did you use for the canopy? You did a really good job of painting the canopy, was this masked twice?

이 영상을 보니 저도 조만간 다시 모델링을 시작해야겠다는 생각이 듭니다 문득 예전에 만든 모델킷 박스들을 정리하다가 생각나서 글을 남깁니다 제가 준비하던 시험도 결국 통과했고 이젠 간간히 취미로 즐겨야겠네요 ㅎㅎ (만든지가 꽤 돼서, 저를 기억하실지 모르겠네요)

I don't know what the Russians use in their engines but the green shades in their exhausts are a nice break from the tans/whites greys and blacks of US and other jets! I don't know If I could hang any stores on mine as it detracts from the shape of the Flogger which is too cool to hide!

This is Mig 23 Scale Model

It's a cying shame no one else has made a decent version of the Mig 23. Having built 2 different variants, the problem with both is the undercarriage. It just isn't well made/designed by trumpet. Its very hard to get the right shoe and I've have the joints break on both kits.

Интересно кто делал декали для этой модели? Сплошные ошибки и опечатки. 31:19 "контрольные разъёмы" а не "раземы", пишется с твёрдым знаком. 31:34 надпись на руле направления "осторожно-сотья"... Что? Что за набор букв? "Осторожно струя!" наверное - предупреждение обслуживающему персоналу дабы не подходили к соплу сзади. Видимо, производитель модели не рассчитывал, что это всё будут читать русскоязычные люди)
