I've got a neighbor out here in AZ, who's from Converse, my family's from Stanley. I always enjoy the videos.

Beautiful beads Allen. I have learned so much from you. You are a master craftsman for sure. Keep them coming.

I noticed you trimmed your wire at the start of a bead, to keep it from popping. That’s a good habit I need to get into more. Great job smooth beads

No doubt about it, those are some consistently nice & raw solid wire welds. Been a while for me now. Past 5yrs, only been using dual shield, stick, & brazing. First certified in 2003. The odd time I do 1/8" steel, but I'm set up with either stick, or .052" dual shield with 25/75 mix. This is all at work. Should I go with a solid wire of smaller diameter, for my 3/16" and under projects? Stick looks amazing, but far too slow!

Awesome, would be nice to see you working the puddle in a close up... Have you ever put a lense on your camera so we would be able to see the actual weld? You make really good clean welds by the way👍👍👍

Really helpful video but I do have one suggestion. If you could show a few seconds at normal speed before going with high speed, that will help some of the beginners a lot.

Allen not in this case but I just wondering, most of the time you are welding outside. Doesn’t the wind interfere with your sheilding gas? All I need is a breeze and things go crazy.

Will 110 welder with 75/25 weld 3/16th plate like that?
@rodfarva39596 жыл бұрын
Greg Sullivan if you multi pass and bevel the pieces your welding you can do it, depending on if it's structural or ornamental is what really matters. Ornamental sure not an issue like I said multi pass and bevel. Structural or somthing that could potentially cause Injury if it breaks, no go with a bit bigger machine. Hope that helps a bit.
@mrloots6 жыл бұрын
Greg Sullivan that's a good question, and I shall follow this post. I've been welding a while. Just have never used a half decent wire feeder, ran off 110v.
