Nostalgia from HoMM 2. I heard this music so long ago...

Paul. i feel like fresh my soul when i listen to this song :) it brings my old memories when i was 7. i saw my brother playing this game every night. and when i had my own a computer, i first played heroes 3 then back to heroes 2, then skipped up to heroes 6 and backward to 5 :)i experienced almost of soundtracks and .... really epic Paul. Aaah, that relaxing, refreshing, and soothing soft breeze morning music when I first played heroes series is heroes 2 and this is the soft breeze music in the morning when i ended my turn and start a new day, with the sounds of a sawmill sawing nearby... nice.

such an epic song. It was actually one of the most memorable things for me from heroes 2. Not to mention the game itself but this triggers that memory. Glad to see they are bringing back the roots, if the gameplay is classicish, they got a winner.

Even after nearly a decade of not playing that game, I could still hum this song note for note. It's one of my all time favorite pieces of music. Thank you for writing the original piece.

Heroes 3 in particular is part of my childhood and I loved the music. I like the third game a lot, but this music gives me old days when I lived in san francisco.

HOMM5 is HOMM3 in HD with a different story. The entire game mechanic is completly same. A skilled player would able to recreate the entire HOMM3 campaign with the map editor. The 6th wasn't so bad they finally did something new, not just copy paste with new story and graphic tuning. I'm gona be unpopular, but i think that 4th was the best. For real what kind of "hero" is who doesn't go into the battlefield especially as a warrior, and also uncapable to defeat the weakest monsters by it's own. Heroes 4 with limited heroes/group, no hero less groups, and the ability to use the hero like old times, outside from the battlefield casting spells and giving stat bonuses would be great (if the hero would die (s)he would gone to this state with the inability to rejoin the battlefield).

Shit, I got goosebumps, when tried the beta first time, and heard this song... so many hours/days/months had i spent with HoMM2 alone, not to mention the other 1, and 3-5.. the beta feels promising, i really hope they don't screw it up to the final version..

This is so awesome! :'D I'm like a child again! I love it! But I think they should have changed it a little bit more so it would be more like a "sequel" to the grasslands song in HOMM2 instead of just a new recording. I deffinetly hear a difference though, but still. :)

Man it hacks me off that this song is not in the game soundtrack... One of my favorite tunes from all of HOMM and they didn't think to include this in the soundtrack... Can't stand it when they leave songs that are clearly in the game off the OST.

ow no they didn't... They actually remixed old homm songs? FINALLY they understand what the player base wants, songs that bring nostalgia and beautiful 2D graphics.

The absolute crisis of ideas is obvious. The music in the new games is just an incoherent jumble of fanfare. This track, which has a soul, is the best confirmation of this - it was created by a professional person. But the rest of the tracks seemed to be generated by some primitive program.

This song is the only reason to play HOMM6. Unfortunately the actual game compared to the other titles in this series is, imo trash. Ubisoft should remake HOMM3 except in HD
