Yeah, it's underwhelming especially since I believe you fight the Hell Priest earlier in the game as well. It could be a placeholder, but they haven't added any actual new levels for a very long time now.

Remember in Doom Eternal there are 3 separate hell priests

Might be a bug. Maybe try restarting the game to see if it's in the inventory then, or if you have to manually claim it? I got mine long ago before chapter rewards either from a drop or a lootbox, I can't remember.

Would be interesting to see how they handle that in a top-down game like this. Could be fun.

@@voidwalker3591 I picture it like this: So the map loads up and the a special cutscene shows icon of sins by a building flexing, our objective is to destroy the armour on his hands and legs, now legs could be located through a portal that leads to a below floor, while doing that u face off all the other monsters in the game, icon of sins attacks are very powerful and mostly shockwawes and there is one beam attack that could potentaly kill you depending on your HP. Of course lets not forget the infamous glory kill that would require a crucible blade which can also replace the saw.

I bought the Gold Slayer using crystals and it's not really worth it because it has to be leveled up separately from the default Slayer's armor. Unlike regular gear pieces, you can't undo your default armor's upgrades to re-allocate the points to the new Gold Slayer, meaning you'll have to grind so many resources for it again. And you're better off saving the resources to upgrade your gear and weapons anyways. If you're just interested in collecting Slayer skins though, it's nice to have the Gold Slayer unlocked. I just think buying the Special Crates with Crystals makes more sense long-term.

I can't really speak to the new player experience since I unlocked most of my upgrades prior to nerfs during the beta. That said, just focus on upgrading your gear and using the elemental damage type that the Prowler boss is vulnerable to. Try to quickly destroy the fakes he summons when he splits, since they only have one health each. The Plasma Rifle is a random drop from completing levels or opening lootboxes. It might also be a stage reward, but I'm not entirely certain.

They attack in a haphazard repeatable pattern. Once you know the pattern, they're fairly easy to avoid. Just make sure to keep some distance.

They even have an option to change the color of the blood. Out of curiosity, I checked the app store and apparently Mighty Doom's age rating is a T.

Quickest is loot boxes technically but otherwise just do a lot of runs. The daily events are especially nice because they are shorter than campaign levels but still offer item drops at the end of runs. Also complete daily quests to earn one lootbox each day, which adds up.

Been playing for a long time F2P. I added an imgur link in the video description to my current gear profile, however this Hell on Earth run was doable at a much lower gear level the very first time I did it (this video was an extra attempt much later for the sake of recording one).

@@voidwalker3591 just checked it out, is that your absolute best gear? You don't have any epic gear? Was also wondering if there is a rarity above epic if you fused enough epic items?

@@zucciniii1878 Yes, this is my best gear. I do have two or three pieces at epic, but they are at level 1 (I got them recently and hadn't leveled them up yet). I'm not sure if there's a level above epic, but since each rarity bumps the level cap by 20 and epic is at 80, I think a "Legendary" with a cap of 100 would make sense, although I have not seen or heard about one yet, so I don't know for sure.

Thanks. I read their review and it seemed pretty fair, the microtransactions can be off-putting. I do enjoy the game though as a casual side thing.

Nothing really. Just farm Events and the final level to upgrade your gear. Although there isn't much point upgrading the gear either since neither of those things are particularly challenging currently.

Yeah it's weird they randomly tossed in Daisy for the release announcement. Outside of a loading screen, Daisy doesn't appear anywhere in Mighty Doom, or is even mentioned.

That's it. I was surprised when they announced the game was going to release as is as well. The final level didn't really feel like final level material. Could've been nice to see the Cyberdemon / Tyrant as well, since it appears in the cinematic trailer.

It's in the description. It was basically an assortment of 40+ level gear.

The moment-to-moment can feel like Doom, but the overall game is pretty shallow, repetitive, and designed with mobile monetization in mind. I think it's fine as a side thing.
