Mighty monkey is an arcade game of the genre horizontal shoot em up released by Universal in 1982.
The gameplay is similar to defender, inspired by an ancient Chinese history "The adventures of the Monkey King" and the character is a super-powered monkey named Sun Wu Kong, riding a nimbus cloud and carrying a crosier that launches shots to the enemies set by the evil Ox king named Niu Mo Wang. You can also turn into a dragon to eat the fireballs.
Years later, Dragon Ball would be created by Akira Toriyama, inspired by the Monkey King to create Son Goku.
