I like how the two mobile suits have contrasting seats. Ingrid is behind Ophee, supporting him, but not visible. Lacus is right beside Kira, both united together. It's a nice touch.

For anyone curious: Kira designed the disruptor himself. The power requirements are so enormous that it requires a 2nd nuclear reactor to fire the weapon. The 2nd reactor is located in the Defender pack. The disruptor is said to bypass all defenses and destroys things on the atomic level.

The one other thing I like about Gundam Seed Freedom is the new Superior Element Evolutionary Destined Factor effect or S.E.E.D. effect as described by Erica Simmons in Gundam Seed where they show a seed matching the eye color of the pilots who possess it in their mindscape like: Kira Yamato Athrun Zala Lacus Clyne Shinn Asuka

More like Shinn moving so fast it appears like clones. According to some comments about the novel, Shinn was pushing Destiny beyond it's max capacity to the point it was overheating. It was visualized here with the glowing red joints.

@@user-cv8ev6cl8t 機体の機能っていうよりシンの抱えてるトラウマ（ステラ）と精神操作と共感能力に長けたアコーズの相性によって引き起きた現象っぽいんですよねヒルダ姉は本体の後ろから分身に惑わされずにジェットストリームアタックしかけてるしヒルダ視点は本来のデスティニーの分身機能程度アコーズ視点は劇場版の倍増分身状態（知らないよそんな武器）

whats insane is the defensor the thing that makes the SF the MSF was intended for the rising freedom originally and the disruptor needed the extra power from the Defensors energy siphoning particle field to even work so was there secretly a disruptor on the rising freedom this whole time?

Yup! But on Rising Freedom, it wouldn’t be able to be used at FULL power, and only get off maybe ONE shot. Strike Freedom on the other hand, is NUCLEAR. And the disruptor’s is POWER HUNGRY, so TWO reactors? WAY MORE THAN ENOUGH.

As much as the masses say they prefer hand drawn Mechs, I rather like how they used CGI to make the mechs in this one. I am fine with CGI being used like this in Mecha anime as the action is fast paced and beautiful.

This is a hill that I will die on... Vestige over Meteor for this scene. Both are epic songs and I will never dispute that, but Vestige is Strike Freedom's theme and this is an upgraded Strike Freedom. As badass as the OG Freedom Gundam was, the Strike Freedom is on a whole other level

I can see the merit in the perspective that Meteor is the good guy winning song. While I can agree with that point of view, I feel that Vestige conveys the sheer power of the Strike Freedom which displayed both in this scene as well as when the Strike Freedom made its debut

So nuclear powered SF Spec II can run out of power going all out, but Destiny Spec II can also go all out using all his weapons, wings of light, palma fiocina, creating clones using mirage colloid, AND charge the Impulse without any issue. 🤔 And did they really need Lacus to wear a skin tight suit instead of a regular pilot suit everyone else is using?

The idea on MSF power down is to sell the fact it's running so on the limit that the reactor is only slowing the massive drain. Notably the light barrier shields are pushed beyond max to withstand the blows. Also note Kira using the railguns to boost kick forward while assaulted near the surface. Poor suit was giving everything. Also on Lacus, that's what we call in relationships 'apology wear' 😅 but skin tight space suits will always be a thing

That is probably why it requires the Mighty Strike Freedom configuration AND COMPASS Presidential approval to use. Too dangerous for indiscriminate use without authorization.

The ships that were destroyed were drones, while the manned warships looked like they were disabled rather than exploded Also Kira doesn't usually kill unless he has no choice such as if the person in question is too dangerous let live. For example, he killed Rau and was prepared to shoot Durandal. This is just my interpretation, but it looked like Kira gave Orphee and Ingrid a chance to escape as he didn't stab the cockpit directly, only the side.

Well Accords are also genetically engineered from birth to be superior(against other Coordinators) so they are similar on that aspect.

@@makcibe66@makcibe66 Unfortunately, the conditioning for the tasks that they also receive (i.e., Shura's "purpose" being to win in combat) makes them beatable beyond any strengths/weaknesses of genetic engineering. An example is when Athrun used lustful thoughts about Cagalii to confuse and enrage Shura due to his combat-focused conditioning. This caused him to overlook the possibility of the RC of Justice by Cagalli, which caught him off guard.

MSF just overheating before, so docking the wing cooled it down and nuclear reactor can work properly...just cooling problem because overuse power against knight...
