This looks really impressive. I was thinking it would be cool if someone made an unintrusive light kit for the internals. Then again you shouldn't have to at that price point.

Great review, very fair and balanced. It looks like a fine addition to a collection even with some of the small shortcomings. I’d love to have bought one too but after 25yrs of collecting I really don’t have the space to put it anywhere, living vicariously through your review is a pretty good substitute though :)

Thanks for reviewing it.... looking at it, and how simple the features are, it seems like this could have easily been a normal release instead of a Haslab one. It might not have the same paint applications and weathering, and less included accessories, but it's totally doable as a standard toy store release.

You have to wonder if someone at Hasbro, who knew the Razor Crest was about to be obliterated, was suggesting they don't offer this set. Well, RIP Razor Crest, this is a fine ship to have for any fan of The Mandalorian, way more detailed and functional than the ships we grew up with in the 80s!

I love how the razor crest blew up, made the show more interesting. Sure it was like why, but good 😆. I got one on the way . Luv the review mate.

Wonderful review! The reason the ship has no play features is that the Razor Crest doesn't actually do anything in the show. It's just a transport to get the characters from Point A to Point B. The most significant thing that happens to it is when it gets stripped by Jawas, which they've managed to recreate well enough. Heck, there's only one space battle in the show with the RC and it lasts about 11 seconds. The Barge was the setting for a huge, exciting action sequence. The Falcon is in numerous thrilling scenes. The RC is basically a space minivan. It's a great toy, but what else are you gonna do with it?

Still the ship with the 2nd highest filmed ship in Star Wars . The only ship with more screen time is the falcon! I absolutely love my razor crest!

Mine still hasn't arrived & I'm definitely looking forward to it finally having it in my hands, alongside the Sail Barge. I'll likely display it w/the base & in flight. Here's hoping that any future ships Hasbro comes up w/thru crowd-funding includes a base like this. I don't mind the lack of paint underneath when you take off the panels. I'm only disappointed w/the lack of LED lights & sound FX - especially for the price. It should've included them.

Ya it’s a first bathroom…lol but your spot on with the dark spot! They made a fantastic weapons closet but you can’t see it.

This is pretty awesome - I think the complete side needed to come off so you could access the toilet, Grogu bedroom & weapons locker... other than that ya some lights and sounds would have been cool in the engines or one of the engines for the sound if you took the other off... especially for the price. I went the cheap route and got the Mission Fleet Razor Crest for $40 LOL - I'll be reviewing that soon.

not sure if it was intentional but i love the kinda clashing blue of the interior. reminds me of the military green youd find inside of ww2 planes that clash with the outer paint job.

I think it was loudmouthed fans influencing the show. A lot of internet traffic said the Razorcrest was "boring" or not "cool". I myself liked it, and there's no way Haslab can do a 350 buck Razor-1(that's what I call Mandos Naboo starfighter as it's an N-1 Naboo fighter and looks like a flying razor). The Carbonite prisoners are Mythrol, Dani, Rik Duel, and Chihdo. The last three are the original Marvel Star Wars Comics characters.

I do custom figures, for my own collection so I have paints but I’m not touching my razor crest with paint. But it’s to bad we didn’t get some paint on the engine. And no that scratch isn’t on mine ! So depending on how much it bothers you and I can see why it would for the money spent you might want to contact Hasbro and maybe they can sent you out another escape pod

The Razor Crest might make a comeback. He did ask for one before he got the Nabuu.

I’m so pissed I didn’t get this as well the sail barge katana that is . Finances, finances , Even though I did get Millennium falcon Smugglers run Edition I was very happy with purchasing that. Both of these Haslab Projects are the pinnacle Of Star Wars collecting and as well very expensive I have four children. Well I hope and pray has Haslab Another fine project in the future that I could purchase. Tired of missing out 😞😞. But I have to do what I have to do what I have to do as a dad Family Gotta eat LOL great video though .

Do the engine’s detach after assembly, or is it a one click thing, and then they are stuck! Like legacy falcon mandibles, or six inch tie fighter wings, once assembled they cannot be removed!

I haven't got my razor yet. Hopefully they will ship it in the next week or two. I was wondering about the gun locker. I got big hands so I don't think I'll be able to put them in it. I'll probably have to get the wife to hang the guns. Just wondering after you hung all of them up will they stay on when you move it around. The led would be awesome

Looks really nice. I'm wondering if those carded figures are mounted on thicker cards or still those thin cards?? The ship looks sort of like an old WWII bomber especially the cockpit. Needs an LED lighting kit to see those small dark areas and give it more realism.

The bed area is suppose to go deeper for Mando to sleep.

Nifty. Although I wonder why there's so much panel detail on the unpainted sections of the engines that are semi-permanently snapped into the body. Won't it break the engines to remove them to show off that detail?

Overall the toy is impressive. Still at that cost point it's a huge miss not to have some lighting. At least have the engines light up. You should get the Revell Razor Crest once it comes out. It's the best model available right now and it includes the interior. Strangely model kits seems to be a gap in your collection. Or perhaps we haven't seen them yet.

Of course they blew it up!! How else could they be able to make the his new ship for sale on haslab!

I wish they had put in some sort of Easter egg in the ship.

You have hand that look a little on the bigger sizes, how was the weapons closet? I have big man hands being 6,1” 240 pounds so my hands match the rest of me…lol not for use for small objects. Almost gave up and ask the girlfriend to do but I got it! Many swear words later…lol

Say...What's ypur take on Jabba's/Bib Fortuna's/BobaFett's announced throne room? Will you be picking up & reviewing that too?

Has anyone had a problem with crooked landing gear? My ship came with a front landing gear strut that is angled to the starboard side, so the pad doesn't sit flush on the table. In fact, even the aft struts were a little off, just not to the degree of the front one. I contacted Hasbro, and thet sent me a replacement set of all three, but the new forward strut, while being straight left to right, is very crooked fore and aft. So the back of the landing pad is up off the table! On all of the videos I have seen, of other people's ships, all of the landing pads look to be sitting flush on the table. Could I really be this unlucky, or is this more common that it seems?

Good review but am more for the figures and the playsets and don’t not have the room for that type of stuff and don’t buy it’s way expensive because you wouldn’t pay to much money just for a toy and there’s isn’t nothing special about it and it’s not for me it’s not a must have for my Star Wars collection but I do repaect everyone options but thanks for the review

It is nice but I have to admit I'm glad I passed on it.

To put the guns and the thermal detonators in the locker, I used a long skinny dowel rod, with some Blu-Tack on the end. It made it fairly easy.

I just watched the Tested review, and the escape pod scratch isn't on their toy.

I am so jealous.. I only started collecting Star Wars a year ago. So I was too late. Hopefully I can still find it at an affordable price. Enjoy.

Hey if you've seen guardians of the galaxy vol.1 the malono was destroyed and then by the end it was entirely rebuilt and so the same might happen to the razor crest

I had it on Pre-order but eventually cancelled. More to the fact that I had no room for it and focusing on six scale figures more and more. Great review which makes me glad I cancelled it actually. If I see how much detail goes into HotToys for that price range it feels Hasbro had to rush things. Sloppy washes and no detailed paint in the loose parts. But overall it looks okay but just not for me.

I've never understood why seeing a ship or anything in Star Wars blow up or have limited screen time would deter a fan from wanting a model or toy. Hell the sail barge had just minutes of screen time yet you spent $500 on it? We got to see this ship inside and out for many episodes. I remember being 8 years old in 1980 and I just loved Boba Fett and the Slave I. they were my favourite toy and figure yet having almost no screen time. smh

It's like Has-blo doesn't know their audience. Is this for kids or Adult Rich-boys? If the Latter, Give Us Room for big Frickin Fingers!! When there's no access but for Tweezers but still has a GUN RACK, very mixed signals.

I watched a review of this on Tested.com's KZfaq channel as well. I think I might like your perspective a little better as Norm tends to look at things through rose colored glasses. I am however excited to see Adam Savage and him fix some of the shortcomings in the paint job. Mayhaps you give yours a bit of a glow-up as well?
