Nonetheless he acts upon his emotions, I look over quickly to find him plunging to his death, trying to reach our enemy. He fails, as I shed a tear. My heart rate goes up as I sweat in fear, only I could’ve stopped him, only if I had looked into his eyes and told him it would be ok, that there is a light to the end of this tunnel. My feelings overwhelmed me, I had to act, and quick. I realized the only thing left to do is try or die trying. I step closer to the edge, my opponent laughs on the other side, filling my head with more doubt. But I can’t, I can’t let him win without a fight. I take one last breath as I leap toward him, only to find myself falling as my once cherished friend had. Yet again my eyes lock into my enemies, his grin is like a blade stabbing through me. Before no thought were left to be had, no memories… I close my eyes and think, “Where did it all go wrong”.
