Items and things are not important to my family, we value each other more then anything else in this world.

If you can get 40 cents on the dollar and you steal 30k worth of merchandise in a month, that's gonna feed your family WELL. Do it for a year or 2 and you have enough money to put down for a relatively low percentage mortgage in a different state. 2 years of stealing in New York would get you (if you were smart with it) a nice house in Houston. If you already have a criminal history it makes no difference to your chances of finding employment, may as well revel in crime for a period. I heard about that earlier. Safeway, the last grocery store in that part of the city, from what I understand. If they have to be in that hellscape for another 6 months, I'd suggest they order minimal goods and all of it cheap. Ramen noodles, Vienna sausages, canned raviolis...stuff like that. Keep minimal stock on their shelves until the 6 months is up, then get the hell out of there and don't look back.
