@idotso6057 It was sort of an unintentional forfeit. To be fair, besides Sam, he's the one with the most experience among the new generation, and Sam herself was very out of practice until S2 kicked in.

I have a theory; so we've all probably noticed how Robby has a more upright fighting position, I think this is because Miguel is taller and he wants to be on eye level when fighting

The one thing people still aren't talking about is that Miguel hasn't truly been in a competitive fight since falling down from the balcony until this fight. Technically Hawk was his first competitive opponent but Miguel did not want to finish the fight, instead went away to find his biological father because he was not fully himself during the tournament. So, this one was technically his first competitive fight after rehabilitation (Robby despite being a perpetual loser is one of the most skilled fighters in the show) and you can factor in prior experience or training all you want but that won't change the fact that Miguel would be be rusty against a higher-end fighter but somehow, he still won that fight. *Truly the Karate Kid of the show.* Never been defeated in a fight with or without holding back, found balance between "mercy" and "honour" as well as Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai fighting styles; fell on his spine where he could have easily died but he did not and he woke up from a coma as well as conquered his paralysis. Through all the pain that struck him physically, psychologically and EMOTIONALLY, he still put on his smile and move past previous grudges or heartbreaks. His story would have translated so much better than Daniel LaRusso's in live action imo because it may be unrealistic in some parts but he's a more endearing protagonist who's been through things one can relate on, he was so damn inspirational and a true protector.

Miguel was a different beast in season 5. Kenny was given all the plot armour in season 5 still got his asss handed to Miguel everytime.

thats just not true. he was on the same tier as robby in season 2. nobody else at the time was good. hawk was a scrub. it wasnt until season 3 when he got good. now in season 5 hes a tier above robby. hes the best and its not close.

A bloodlusted no mercy Miguel without any nerf or injuries would absolutely oliberated the whole cobra Kai dojo by himself. Without Miguel in the beginning, cobra Kai wouldn’t be exist again so Miguel is the king cobra solo everyone. People say that Robby is the better fighter since he solo the cobra Kai in S4 but here Miguel solo everyone without getting hit and this is a much stronger cobra Kai team since S4. Everyone literally back off when they see Miguel defending Robby. They know who not to mess with. During their fight like that, Robby and Sam should use the wheel technique since they are surrounded

Miguel:"All right lets do this one last time, my name is miguel diaz I was taken in and train by sensei Lawrence And for the past 1 year i have been the best teen karate fighter Im pretty sure you know the rest......😏 You see i won my first karate tournament Got Samantha but a rivalry between my sensei and her dad along with both dojos split us up and ueah i gotten better in season 2 of cobra kai but got into an accident after i beaten robby And i have a lot of difficulty in cobra kai season 3 and 4 but in every season I've won fights again and again but after everything i still loved doing karate,i mean who wouldn't so no matter how many hits i take i always find a way to come back bcz the only thing that stands between the dojos and the vallay and everything is me There's only one karate kid now and you looking at him 😉"
