The look they give each other when Johnny says "come on I though you guys were sworn enemies". Miguel and Robby never wanted to hate each other and you could see it every time they interacted. So glad they've resolved this and in the greatest way possible.

Johnny knew what Miguel was cooking, the moment that punch landed on robby..he knew it was over, im glad they are going to act like brothers.

Johnny is the funniest mentor on the show. His crazy tactic to get them to fight it out delivered results.

I'm glad they're friends now, seeing their interactions after this scene was really sweet.

This time the roles were reversed Miguel was wearing blue, Robby was wearing red, Robby was the one with the nose bleed, Miguel had long hair Robby had short hair, but one thing stayed the same.... Miguel still showed mercy.

I love how “old fashioned” this approach was. To have two guys actually settle something by kicking the shit out of each other but stop before anything fatal is a perfect balance

The whole time I watched this fight for the first time, I kept thinking: “Crap, someone’s gonna fall.” I was glad none of them did and I’m hyped that they’re friends (and practical bros). This scene was remarkable.

Miguels scream before the fight ends is textbook it tells of all the pain he went through when he fell off the ledge and its the release finally of all the anguish that was building up after the incident now hes ready to move on and continue being a beast

This is pretty sweet. I almost felt his pain with that flashback of them fighting.

This scene kind of stamped where Johnny is as a person and a dad. He knew this was the only way for them. Sometimes his methods work sometimes Daniels methods work. He decided that his was the one to go with, and he was right. They both needed to just get out their feelings as men and move on, and they did. Well done.

In the end, they both handled there problem and are gonna be the best duo.

And just like that, he's back in his prime.

They both have wins on each other. But to be honest, it’s not even about who’s better, it’s about character development, and both these boys have grown and matured from boys to “men”.

When the fight made it’s way up the balcony I was like oh god not again

I got so hyped up for this scene when the music kicked in, I felt my heart dropping so hard the tectonic plates shifted. This was absolutely one of the BEST scenes in the entire season, if not the series. After so many passionate fights that effected their lives, it was beautiful to see this was their last ones. Both honest, and good hearted champions of Daniel and Johnny.

I love how this fight clearly shows the fighting differences between them. Miguel isn't flashy like hawk and Robby and tends to use simple strikes and combos and he can patiently wait to counterattack as seen how he bloodied Robby's nose. Robby's style is also similar to Miguel's making him strong in offense and defense. he however uses flashy moves. nonetheless best fight hands down in season 5

that scream Miguel did gave me chills

When Miguel said he only got into karate to be badass and find balance, I noticed that those are why Johnny and Daniel do karate respectively. I like how even the writers know that Miguel is supposed to be a combination of the two.

Believe it or not that was the best fight I’ve seen in this whole series. I was rooting for Miguel but was comforted they were both evenly matched

I think the coolest part about this fight is that it was grounded enough to where both actor carried the majority of the fight without stunt doubles. While stunt doubles are appreciated, from an acting standpoint, the audience can feel the emotion in this fight almost as if there’s a conversation going on.

You can tell from the first face kick, Miguel didn't want to do this anymore. But when he saw Robby was okay and ready to continue, he had to honour the warrior's code.

I felt malice in Miguel’s eyes when he was hitting Robby and the flashbacks came back

Even though Robby doesn't have many wins, he still manages to have the best highlights!

In this fight nobody was holding back, I was really happy that they both got to use their full potential in this fight and Miguel ended up winning and Robby accepted that and he also accepted his actions for what he did to Miguel in season 3, I’m glad their not enemies anymore their friends

This fight might genuinely be the best fight in the series. The build up. The pay off. The themes. The symbolism. The choreography. The fact that Miguel shows mercy both times. It’s just fucking beautiful. If it’s not the BEST, it’s at least my personal favorite if nothing else

Never thought I'd see the day they talk it out... Especially didn't think I'd see that happen after beating each other's asses.

Just watched season 5 and I am speechless. This is probably one of the best seasons yet. This feels like a finale but there’s still the plot twist at the end. EVERYONE had a beautiful character development this season. Miguel, Hawk and Robby become friends and got along. Tory and Sam become friends. Johnny and Daniel finally hashed things out. So many great things and plot twists happened. I love how Miguel and Robby became “brother’s” and how they both accepted that their parents we’re having a kid. I also love how Silver got exposed. The best part of this season was Chozen, he was such a mood. Everyone put a great performance. Can’t wait to see what they do next season!

I think one of the best aspects of this series is that it shows how important mindset is when fighting. Robby and Miguel have both been shown to have enough skill that the fight could have gone either way, but when Robby asks "why did you hold back?" in this fight, and when Miguel asks "Why didn't you hold back?" regarding the fight where Miguel got injured, it really speaks to how beyond just their skills and strength, their headspaces were huge factors to the outcomes of their matches. It's written in a way where instead of just having characters that are flat out stronger than each other, the strongest fighters in the show have this power balance where any of them could beat any of the others dependent on their mental state.

What I also like is that Miguel reacted the same way that he did in the school fight. His facial expression the exact same

it's awesome how miguel answers "I didn't get into karate to hurt people, I did it to be badass and find a balance." it's cool how humble his is but at the same time has the same philosophy as johnny with the whole being badass thing. Also when miguel and hawk were going to fight in the tournament, when dimitri said "plus it doesn't help that technically no one has ever beaten miguel", still valid xD hahahaha

When that guitar starts to play..... After robby got kicked in the face, that music hyped me up!

This season really made value how broken Miguel really is.

I like how Johnny now has like two sons and he actually loves both of them you can tell he doesn’t wanna pick sides because he truly loves them both

So Johnny was the one who came up with this? I never thought that would happen. But glad history doesn’t repeat itself when they went up the stairs

What will always make Miguel the best fighter on the show over everybody else's is he got more 1 on 1 training with Johnny in the beginning where everyone else did in a group. Those grass root days when it was just Miguel and Aisha Johnny personally got to sculpt his brain and made him mentally tougher then he could imagine.

I am happy that things worked out between Keene and Diaz. I really want Robby to win in the upcoming season. He is one of the best fighters on the show and he deserves a win. I don't even care who his opponent is.

This was a great finale fight to this rivalry. Finally brought them together to deal with bigger issues.

In the second season, Robby made the end fight decision. In this scene, Miguel had the end fight decision. It was his decision to end the fight. It was his decision to forgive. If it was left up to Robby again, this feud wouldn't have ended because it was up to Miguel to decide that. What a beautiful amazing scene. The writers took both Miguel and Robby's feelings into consideration, not just Miguel. The worst moment of their lives for both of them.

Even though they fought plenty of times this finally ends the discussion and proves Miguel is the overall better fight out of the both

I’ve always said , no matter what , Miguel has always been the best fighter , his aggression / feelings / pain everything he’s been thru makes him dangerous, also don’t let this distract you from the fact that Johnny and Daniel are cooking up a DEMON “Hawk” I feel like next season he’s gonna look godly

I remember having hella beef with a guy in high school and it was constantly small fights here and there. One day we decided to take it all out and fight till the end and once the fight was over all the anger we had was over. Now it's been 15 years since we had that fight in high school and he's one of my best friends who I can count on.

I’m so glad they’re not against each other anymore and made it up to each other
