You're right, Americans, especially black Americans will never shade their celebrities over African ones even when they know that their celebrities are wrong because they always think that they're above us. The problem is that most black South Africans are envious of black Americans and some are even American wannabes while Americans see us as backward hungry villagers... I'm also not a Mihlali fan, but I don't see anything wrong with what she did because already she looks far more beautiful than Rihanna with or without filter or makeup.

I agree, airbrushing others can be offensive...However, I think the issue here is the liking of the shady comments. Thats what was foul - to enjoy others putting Riri down while elevating her as if it was a beauty contest. Makes it look like she is 'internally competing with Ri'..Both are Pretty girls tho..

@@msmulenga2197 ask yourself this, will Americans drag Rihanna if she did the same thing as Mihlali did? And sure, both ladies are pretty, but if we're to be brutally honest, Mihlali is ten times more beautiful than Rihanna with or without filter or makeup... I don't see anything wrong with like comments that complimented her because if Rihanna has self confidence, then that shouldn't be bothering her one bit.
