She is one of the community of people who do workhard, even behind social media. Some people are hardworkers out here, its not even funny...the difference between them and the likes of Mihlali is that they don't like being put in a spotlight, should they use social media, it would be to just put themselves out there, for active account sake. I'm glad rather that Mihlali saw how powerful social media can empower your dreams, given her nature of work and career.

There are so many people who know that they were brave enough to pursue a career in the beauty industry and as social media influencers because she showed everyone that it could be a career and not just a past time. Brands took a chance on her and because she flourished, I imagine that it was easier for them to take a chance on other influencers in the same space. She’s a pioneer and even if other people are now also successful in the same space, it doesn’t change that she’s a pioneer nor does it nullify her efforts and incredibly hard work.
